hey Mark..... are ceicels OK w/you????

Thats a very cool idea, having an on board tool box that is permanent. Personally I think with some modifications to make it a dedicated tool box rather than a battery box,it might be marketable.

The way I understand it is, if you pull a holeshot and determine
that there are 2 lbs too much weight on the left rear, you open
the "ballast box" and remove and consume 2 beers; therebye
transferring that amount of weight to the driver's seat area.

it's all yours needsarestro...just send me...oh...hows 10% (off the top of course) for the inspiration?

thats called "weight jacking"...or in some states..."consumption"...illegal either way!!

BTW...those are not wheel tubs you see in the interior shots.

What does he mean by "those are not wheel tubs" ???

not a big deal....those are detachable covers for the wheel tubs....the actual wheel tubs were covered (along with the rest of the interior) with rattle guard, then 1/2 insulation pad,...then the porno red covers bolt over them to keep any noise at a minimium...and I wanted them bright red.. like the rest of the interior....this way I was able to paint them along w/ the dash and other interior hardware outside the car....the white ABS plastic cover and the rear tray will also be painted porno red....I guess I'm into that porno red...thanks Todd!

that is the best idea I have heard in a long time! :thumrigh:

leave it to Brother John to explain the technical side of it

Welcome aboard my friend. First, let me say I like your idea for the Demon. You can find endless help on this site and you should gather advice and suggestions to help with your build. My first suggestion is that you use punctuation when making posts. It makes for a little better reading. Lime, Slime green is a great color for the Demon/Duster... I love that color. Start a thread with some pictures. ! :thumrigh:

I imagine there is gonna have to be a bit of experimentation to determine the proper amount of weight transfer LOL

Except that too much weight transfer could result in another kind of .... ummm..... "propulsion system" and a slight discolouration to the porno red interior. :fart: :wack: :angry7:

I think HemiDenny is getting secret advice and technical help from Mopar engineers...looks like a stealth build by the Chrysler Skunkworks Team!

Well if thats the case when will we see these on the showroom floor. I am ready to put my deposit down. Come on Denny give us the real scoop are you a spook for Chrysler?

If thats the case it will be better built than most. I've found chryslers chassis and engine books to be the ones all others are based on.
