It has a 318 in it for the time being with an automatic trans. Who ever had it before me put in a B&M gate shifter in the floor but I am going to put it back on the column when I get the new column cleaned and painted.. Excuse my automotive experience but when you stay "candy canes" what are you actually talkin about?

the trim that wraps around the grille/headlights...each side is shaped like a candy cane:-D

I have a wagon specific question. Does anyone know if 4 door door panels will fit a wagon?

it's good to see a wagon forum

doors, fenders, hood, etc yes but the 1/4's are different but are 95% the same from 63-66 dodge and plymouth model wagons

Yeah, it shares most parts and interior from the 4 door. My dream is to find a super cheap non running four door in great shape that someone wants towed away. I can dream, can't I?

Tim

I was in the market for a decent cheap 4-door valiant to throw a big block in for some snoozin fun....widened 13" wheels, full wheelcovers,, and slicks....probly just stock up on 7.25 rears and welded spiders lol

but being out of work sucks:wack:

Got a pretty good lookin stance as it is, maybe an inch or so lower in the front and thats just an adjustment of the torsion bars away

Ok, here's my '66 Dart Wagon Survivor. As I've posted elsewhere here, this car is identical to the one I grew up in and was found sitting in the desert in Texas. Has all original panels, glass, 95% of it's paint, engine & driveline. Hope to get some road time in it once the weather breaks.

Every time I look at that thing, I wonder why on earth Mopar never made them. Ford had a Falcon 2 door wagon and Chevy had a Nova 2 door wagon. Certainly the Valiant and Dart were in the same size and weight class.....so why not? You did a real nice job on that car Curtis. It needs a 6-71 stickin through the hood. How awesome would that be?

I d love to get one and drop in a stroker 360 4 speed dana 60 big tubs out back for the wrinkle walls etc, etc, etc,a guy can dream.

been a while since I've been on, just thought I'd post a photo of my newest addition. believe it or not, one of those guys who drive around with a car trailer looking for cars to scrap out pulled up with this on back and said he couldn't bring himself to scrapping it. someone pointed my Dad out as his best bet for finding it a home. I didn't even haggle.
it's still registered to it's original owner, and that's the original paint.
273, auto, with power steering, and factory air.
