Our favorite thing to do is to stop at steakadelphia on the way to the track or on the way back home... If I'm going to take passes all night we'll stop there first but if I'm just going to take a few passes for fun will do that and stop and get food afterwards...
I've always wanted aluminum heads and now I got the sitting on a shelf LOL but also I've always wanted to try nitrous so who knows what the future will bring but I won't be bringing it soon LOL..

I've talked to, ran into, or visited with every member within a hundred-mile radius but somehow the elusive YR has slipped through my radar.. even going out of my way at times.. never seen him at the Mopar Nationals the biggest Mopar event of the year... Never seen him at the April Swap Meet the biggest swap meet in the northwest... 2 years ago at the hi Performance swap meet in Vancouver I missed him because he was the very first person in line? Who the hell is the very first person in line!!??.. YR... lol... Supposedly... Lol... Of course I'm not supposed to talk about the no-show summer before last because that makes everybody mad that I wouldn't let it go..
So now I've whittled it down just to get him to show up for cheeseburger dammit.. someone on this forums got to prove that he's a real person... lol..

First of all monster Mopar is the biggest Mopar race of the year in my eyes. I have never been to the Mopar nationals. What may really surprise you is I live in Pa and have never been to Carlisle in my life. I loved the monster Mopar when it was in September but they moved the race to the same weekend that we run three 20,000.00 races at my local track. Major bummer. Yellow Rose probably feels the same as I do about some of these shows, races.

I'm sure back East whatever happens is got to be way bigger as there's way more people. This is just a Northwest thing..
YR does not race competitively like you and not have time to enjoy other things..

it's all my fault. After last years 30% sale, I decided to see what the sale would be this year as I was think'n really strong on ProMaxx. When I seen 40%, I pulled the trigger before this thread was ever posted. I have no one but myself to blame...

Edit: ^^^^^^^my bad^^^^^^^ never been to THAT MoPar nats. Lost my marbles there for a second. Been to MATS several times and it's boring. And I only fly if I have to and you'd better well be dead or I'm not flying. I physically kills me and I don't have enough immune system to get on those flying germ tubes. I fly, I get sick. Bet on that.
Went to the NWDRA swap meet the last 4-5 years, and until about 2005 I went to every NWDRA swap meet starting in 1984.
And two years ago you go lost going to the NWDRA swap meet in your quest for the perfect donut!! I have a memory like an elephant. Thought I forgot that didn't ya???
I could go on but I'm winning this and I don't like on. I believe in the mercy rule. In kinda nice like that!!

Now that I have a pair of heads coming what shall I put them on? My 9:1 70 Teen or stroke my roller Teen block? A aluminum head roller 390 sounds like fun.
10.5/1 +.030 318 with a 4" stroke. As cast aluminum Speedmasters and a Howards Hydraulic roller Rattler cam. (just a random pick) 227/235 280/288 .525/ .530 109 l/s and small tube headers with exhaust. The second chart is with open headers.

367tq@4600/331hp@5200.
At the two ends on the pull:
345tq@3000
318hp@5600
Certainly not representative of what the potential is...... but that’s all that particular combo of parts made.
Some compression and an intake manifold should have perked it right up.
