Cosco= cheap ****. LOLAnnoying flashing/SOS buttons on the new LED lights they sell at Costco. The electronic boards fail. Suck.
Just one more reason not to purchase Chinese products.I've got one of the old-style halogen 3xD cell Maglites in each of our vehicles. Have had them for years. Maybe not as bright as some of the LEDs, but rock solid dependable- unlike most of the newer Chineseum ones, as you have found out. I would imagine Maglite's new ones would be similarly built.
Anybody use these like em hate em other?
That's the same one I had! Does it have a thumb wheel that changed intensity? Thing was awesome but the weird battery flaked out on me. Great varmint light as the beam was very tight. I ended up taking the bulb and reflector out (integral AL heatsink as the CREE gets hot) for another project. Now I have a Stanley USB rechargeable.
I hate to say it but it's waaaaay better.
So good I bought a second one.

That was one thing I always liked about the mags. Sometimes you just want to look at a very small area and not light the area around it. The Fenix E-20 doesn't let you focus the spot. It kinda looks like a spot within a flood all the time which is actually pretty good now that I am used to it.although not adjustable spot beam that I really like.
