Ya gotta love three day weekends.
Enough time to complete the honey-do list AND work on the car.
Todays project was to get the brake air ducts in place through the front grill, so when I have the fenders off for the K member swap all is set. This was a real cheap RN design. I used two 9" x2" shop vac ends from HD and some 3" dryer vent duct with two 2" rubber plumbing couplers.
First pic is the cut grill piece, second/third with the end in place, fourth with the rubber coupler cut down, fifth with the duct, sixth installed from above seven front view.

I'm anxious to see how all of this fits and installs "out in the field"
without Denny or Mark in attendance (presumably just fine).

By the time you are done I think the car will have more tech in it vs. any of the apollo moon rockets. Total techgasm

Denny, here is the mod to the sway bar brackets, not as elegant as your work but it should transfer the loiad to the frame.

First of all, Ross how did the hot sauce go over?
Mark your stash is on the way.
Then, I gave the Special K the royal treatment, two coats of epoxy primer, two coats of the black starburst and two coats of clear. Hopefully Ill get it installed next weekend, lots to do in advance of that.

The pile of stuff on the ground means Im getting closer to the install. I also gave the calipers and the spindles the same paint treatment as the K member.

Here is todays work, I still need to tweak a few things, before I put the coilovers in and put it down on the ground. but the final pic is where I intend to have the ride height set.
Denny, the blurry pic is of the gap next to the UCA's joint. What should I put in there? was there something I neglected to get?
Other than that things fit very well.

You need to put some washers first to set it up. Every car is different. Once alligned make some spacers out of some round stock or just leave the washers in there.

.....could not of said it any better. Sometimes it makes more sense to space the entire upper contol arm an extra 1/8" or 1/4'' further forward or rearward for optimum caster adjustment depending on application...race or street

I still have my 1/8" thick washers in mine. One of there days I will have some aluminum spacers made.

I trust there are no outer tie rod clearance issues with your rims when steering is at full lock
