Hey... I'm just going where no sane MoPar person has gone before!
Isn't that right Captain Kirk.

Andrew....you left out the "with great boldness" part.

Kirk out.....

Denny, Hemi Mark, the rest of the brothers & I are so fortunate to have been
chosen by Andrew to preview his dashboard. I feel so blessed!

That design was pitched to me but... if you think I'm going to let my wife steer from the right hand seat you're nuts!

I made some progress on the hood-scoop today. more tomorrow.

Now we need video of the hood in action like the deck lid wing lol thanks joe

I went through the mechanicals and made a couple of new brackets. Im trying to get the motion to be smooth, Its a little bit jerky right now, but all the functions work quite nicely. I got it welded to the hood, shot with a good coat of epoxy primer, and inside the shop for a little hammer work and filler.

:thumblef: Outstanding!

Im still blocking the hood/scoop, aiming to get it back on the car this weekend.
In the mean time I have come up with a badge for the scoop. As of now it will be for a 440 small block, but the number can easily change. At the back of the burner there will be Mike LeVally style blue- true fire flames spilling on to the hood and the scoop. Now I just have to find a local painter that can do that. The last pic is an example of the real thing from Killer Paint.

After another go round with the filler and complete sanding, I primed and will have to sand and apply glazing putty for the little things left. It will still be a while before it gets put back on the car.

I put everything together for a look, I think the personality of the car is starting to take shape.

Andrew,

It always amazes me what you come up with it looks great.
The only other thing I see you could do to the scoop is add the crease down the center of the scoop, but I am sure you though about that already.

Keep up the great job.

i am so curious to see this thing finished and what the curb weight will be. I bet in wiring alone you are at 500lbs. Amazingly creative and innovative. Keep it up.

OK guys here it is on the car, Im really happy with how nasty this thing is turning out.
