The next chapter of
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:
is being negotiated as we speak.....

it's been a very slow deal...(sense I've been completely broke with a hand injury to boot as of late)

Anyway the next chapter of
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:
will be of the Duster family. Why yes it is green, Howd ya know??!!:D
I believe it's circa 1970.
Had a quick preview last night but forgot the camera!
Will be going back up this weekend and I'll get pics for the next issue of
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:
You guys were right. The van did buff out!! LOL
Sadly we are selling it today for Tuesdays house payment..DAMN!
Every time I get a good one fixed for ABB and winter, I end up having to sell it for needed money. As soon as it sells, we'll go get the Duster. Side note; Our 74 Swinger was dropped at the local dealer for trade on mopar mini van. They are going to use it for the new Dart showroom display. Cool! So at least ABB will have a nice ride for her and Lex!
Rumor has it that our 74 Lump will be sold soon too. Don't worry, Baby will be the last one and she aint going nowhere!!:D Well, hopefully another Duster will be here soon!

See yawl in the funny papers soon!
John.

What's the story on this one? it's new to you.
"Daisy Delilah" 1974 Dart Swinger! Our 1st 2 door!

What's the story on this one? it's new to you.
"Daisy Delilah" 1974 Dart Swinger! Our 1st 2 door!

Story on chapter 39 comming up soon?
OR
"Daisy Delilah" 1974 Dart Swinger! Our 1st 2 door![/QUOTE]
question?

Sorry, I'm lame. Could ya clear up the question for me and I'll try to get an answer back, K?:tongue3:

Was asking about car.

Oh!
You can see more of her here on
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:

See;

Chapter 3, page 3, post#57 right here on this thread.

Well, our 74 swinger is still with us, almost not.
Cursed everytime we tried to sell.
It is at this time sitting indoors at our local Dodge dealer.
Sense we had so many troubles selling it, we are "in-process" of trading to the dealer for a mopar mini van.
So it would still be, at this time for sale, but going, going, almost gone!
We could pull the plug on the trade at the dealer but would take $6000 cash by tomorrow 10AM to get us to call off the deal at the dealer. We have a 2004 town & country touring in the driveway right now on an overnight test drive.
If ya got 6 grand and want it, PM me!
LOL
:glasses8:

Chapter 39 of
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:
Is HERE!!!

We are dedicating chapter 39 to the Duster.
The title of chapter 39?
"The tale of the three Dusters trail"

This chapter is going to be a mix bag of story, a run through the junk yard for FABO, then a trip to Yard Dawgz to score chapter 39 of
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:
First the morning started with FOTO and I runnin cross the crick to the blue grass. We dumped the blue metro off and grabbed a check..
(PAY DAY!!)
So I thought I would take the cam and get some pics for yall and make it a junk yard run and a chapter of
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:
Like we first did in chapter 1.
Unlike chapter 1 though, EVERYTHING you see in pics IS for sale!

So while we continue the story in following posts, I'm going to "weave in" some pics of the junk yard run leg of our journey.:glasses7:

WARNING: CHAPTER 39 SO LONG IT WILL BE CONTINUED!! STAY TUNED!!! IF THIS WAS AN ACTUAL EMERGENCY YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD WHERE TO GO!

Man, get a load of that chick drivin dat Duster through the crops!!
Must be a Hoosier!! LOL!!:D
Reminds me of ABodyBetty!
So some background on our chapter 39 OF
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:

Started hearing about it round 3 months ago.
YD was telling me he thinks he bought 3 Dusters and 1 has my name on it!
Cool!
So weeks went by, that stretched to months.....:coffee2:
So I get the call;
Well I got 2 Dusters delivered here today.
Is one of em mine?
Yep, mebee.
Well, not to sound too foward but...
Is it as rusty as the last one I bought? Does it have an engine? Tranny? Color? Interior? Year? Title? Tree limb on top of roof???
Naw, no tree limb. Hardly any rust. Real solid start for a good car like you build. 1970 6 cylinder auto car.
Well I'll come up to look tomorrow....
Took a quick look but too dark that evening and forgot the camera.
So he got this one and a 318 4 speed Duster too.

So where's the driver for me? Yours is the green one. The orange one is sold. The 318 runs but has lifter noise. The third one the driver, the guy decided to keep.

RATS!

Well hold the green one for me, ABodyBetty still wants a Duster so she's gonna get a Duster! Sides they only have 2 doors!! Hold on to that black 66 for me. I'll be needing the engine and tranny for the super 6 set up. It's all going into the green mist or is it's name "Twisted Sister"??
Who knows what the name will be for this 70 Duster.
I'm already thinking of taking the green AC car glass from out of the 73 and installing on the green 70. Green glass, green car with gold flake & clear. I can see it already!!

Great save! The Duster's styling has really grown on me lately, you really can appreciate the body lines when there's no vinyl roof. And as strange as it is to say this, that shade of green seems cool once again.

As the day dawns, I wake from a semi state of sleep. You know, THAT sleep you don't really get right before a vacation or a car purchase!!!8)

The weather has turned colder and wetter sense our last trip. It's just that ***** mother nature reminding us what winter is like. (like we forgot sense last week!) It's also her way of letting us remember to cherrish the days we get like the one we had that last trip.

Thank you Mother Nature for the day we had the other day!!!!!
Not that I'm complaining today, I am breathing, drinking double D's, going for a ride with a meaner ***** than you named BOF!:happy10:

So were off!
Stop in the next town to pick up some new killer business cards I designed.
Not ready yet.
Were late. While were racing towards the highway, I forgot to tell you,
We can't do the whole Ohio lunch, Oxford college town trip. We had to reorganize plans (as usual DAM!)

We are opn our way to pick up some foe osterage vinyl for BOF 67 Dash that needs re done to match the rest of her interior I did. Remember we took her other later year pad and put it in Fern.
Got the stuff!

We're off to the 64 D200 push button Poly!
What a heap!

Ok I'm not lost and I don't need gas and directions............yes I do!:read2:

Lets just get home and get some stuff done! Like post more guitar players on ABB thread! LOL!!!

Maybe we can catch a little of that time machine magic again soon so tune in next time on the next installment of................

CAR HUNT! or BOF and me car hunting, or just driving around having fun with FABO!!!
When you heard banjos you should have said banjo cause it was me practicing my banjo!

One was our 1970 chapter 39 of
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:
The 4th one maybe????
Well that one would be Ashe who was already at home waiting for her new stable mate, 'Twisted Sister":happy10:

Well FABO, that about does it for 39.
Sorry if it didn't live up to old standards from B4 my absense.
It's really hard to get back into the swing of things sense so many things have changed around here of late.
I am training a new alpha muse. Couldn't get pics of him today. He rolled in some stinky and was banished to the basement till I had time to bath him this evening. (Lex):wack:

Here are some final pics.
I want to thank everyone posting in on the thread.
I will try to hit ya back soon. This 39 took some time!!:tongue3:

Tune in next time to the same
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:
channel. We are but a click away!!:salute:

(Look for upcomming restore thread for the 70 Duster. Another half a$$ed publication of 64dart170 and the whole publication staff at Aurora Darts)

We would also like to again thank Yard Dawg and his YardOCars or two.

See Ya:burnout:

Hey John. Glad to see you back into the swing of things. And that you are having a "pay day". I still need to post some of the cars I have found on my visits to junk yard around here.

Here is one I seen a few weeks back. When I pulled out the camera, the worker came over, reached in, turned the key and it fired right up. No smoke-no joke. It is a BB, 383 I think. If anyone interested PM me and I'll look up the number. Not sure if still there.
