I just now found rims for mine, they are a 4 on 4.5 pattern 13 inch, managed to score two rims off of a 61 falcon.
Unfortunately our truck we use to tow the camper had engine failure, that is another one of my many projects to get finished. We have been using my four cylinder ranger to pull it locally. Otter Creek is supose to be opening to campers again soon.... It would be awesome to have a weekend of camping with y'all.......
Here is some resourses for parts and stuff......

Thanks man!!
Oh, most deff. we will be camping with ya soon!!
4 cyl Ranger??!! COOL!!!
My tow Vehicle is gonna be that 79 Aspen wagon with the super six. As soon as I get it running good enough to pull it LOL
Or Lump can pull it. The Aspen has an extra Leaf opn each side previous owner added.
The 63 compact will easily tow on either. I'll have to get a second hitch from the junk yard.
FOTO pulled another shasta home on Sun morning! Son and I left for 2 hour drive in FOTO before daybreak. The unit is a 1968 LoFlyte. Couldn't pass it up! Just so cheap and so much potential.
All it needs now is hammer and nails, and a bit of soap.
With all the downsizing in autos and gas prices? These things are HOT! In the past week or so, I have not seen a 16" or smaller shasta last longer than 48 hours on CL. If you don't respond to the ad and view within 24 hours, you won't get it, it will be sold! Like HOT CAKES!
This morning I'm racing about 30 miles to be first in line to get a 70's class A motor home with all working appliances included, aluminum body, MOPAR drive train (maybe a 413 engine) all for $200! + it will cost me big to have it towed, tear down and reinstall some of my chin link to get in my driveway. Then tandem truck full - O - gravel for driveway expansion. Once here I can proceed to disassemble and make bank!!
$200 WOW!! I hope I get it. It still even has a working generator and roof air conditioner!!!
Got another junker to get this morning too. Then after those 2 units I got to go to the next town west from me and buy a 2000 caravan and a chebby PU with a fresh 350 in it. (Might be the new tow vehicle for the LoFlyte.
Boy is that thing ugly!!
Here's a couple pics of the 68 LowFlyte Shasta:coffee2: and a couple of progress of restore on the 63.
Thanks again for the info!
(Sorry to rest of FABO for the campers but they are just the right size to be pulled by A Bodies
)
See YAz on the Highway!!
Movin me down the Highway, Movin me down the highway, just so life don't pass me by..... like a fool I am, I'll always be, they can change my mind but they can't change me, I got a dream......
Pass the press brake and box o nails!!
