WOW!!!
Very Cool!!
We camp at KOA L'ville south sometimes when we camp. We used to camp there 4 times a year visiting her relatives and laying in the hot tub there!:glasses7:
We'll all have to go there and camp this year!

Will be looking for sheet metal now! Any ideas? I'm thinking roll sheet and have someone press brake 6" lines and seams for me.

HEY!! Where did ya get the 2 wheel tongue cart movie around thingie?? I want one!

I love those old campers... the restored ones list for good money and they seem to be getting harder to find. Good luck on the project!

Thanks!
It was way wierd that was just around the corner from my house sense 1990. I saw it the day he pulled it in, only never to see it leave again till now....storage shed...Jezz!

Got the trailer dolly at Harbor Freight..
http://www.harborfreight.com/heavy-duty-trailer-dolly-37510.html

I just now found rims for mine, they are a 4 on 4.5 pattern 13 inch, managed to score two rims off of a 61 falcon.
Unfortunately our truck we use to tow the camper had engine failure, that is another one of my many projects to get finished. We have been using my four cylinder ranger to pull it locally. Otter Creek is supose to be opening to campers again soon.... It would be awesome to have a weekend of camping with y'all.......

Here is some resourses for parts and stuff......

Thanks man!!
Oh, most deff. we will be camping with ya soon!!
4 cyl Ranger??!! COOL!!!
My tow Vehicle is gonna be that 79 Aspen wagon with the super six. As soon as I get it running good enough to pull it LOL
Or Lump can pull it. The Aspen has an extra Leaf opn each side previous owner added.
The 63 compact will easily tow on either. I'll have to get a second hitch from the junk yard.
FOTO pulled another shasta home on Sun morning! Son and I left for 2 hour drive in FOTO before daybreak. The unit is a 1968 LoFlyte. Couldn't pass it up! Just so cheap and so much potential.
All it needs now is hammer and nails, and a bit of soap.
With all the downsizing in autos and gas prices? These things are HOT! In the past week or so, I have not seen a 16" or smaller shasta last longer than 48 hours on CL. If you don't respond to the ad and view within 24 hours, you won't get it, it will be sold! Like HOT CAKES!

This morning I'm racing about 30 miles to be first in line to get a 70's class A motor home with all working appliances included, aluminum body, MOPAR drive train (maybe a 413 engine) all for $200! + it will cost me big to have it towed, tear down and reinstall some of my chin link to get in my driveway. Then tandem truck full - O - gravel for driveway expansion. Once here I can proceed to disassemble and make bank!!
$200 WOW!! I hope I get it. It still even has a working generator and roof air conditioner!!!
Got another junker to get this morning too. Then after those 2 units I got to go to the next town west from me and buy a 2000 caravan and a chebby PU with a fresh 350 in it. (Might be the new tow vehicle for the LoFlyte.
Boy is that thing ugly!!
Here's a couple pics of the 68 LowFlyte Shasta:coffee2: and a couple of progress of restore on the 63.

Thanks again for the info!
(Sorry to rest of FABO for the campers but they are just the right size to be pulled by A Bodies:D)
See YAz on the Highway!!

Movin me down the Highway, Movin me down the highway, just so life don't pass me by..... like a fool I am, I'll always be, they can change my mind but they can't change me, I got a dream......

Pass the press brake and box o nails!!
John:glasses7:

I've been meaning to upload these photos since last year, but I never could get around to it. I work special bicycle events during the summer months and get to see lots of Colorado (I have some beautiful pictures along the way.) Here is a picture of me on the first morning of Ride the Rockies last year. It looks beautiful, but is only about 28 degrees.

This Mustang (yeah, I know) was in Toponas. A friend stopped in and yes it's for sale, but crazy price. I don't remember what they're asking, but it's in the high $10K's as I recall and is a 302/Auto if I remember correctly.

The old Dodge and the Barracuda are both near Georgetown.

I went by the same house later last year on another event and there was an orange Road Runner sitting along with the Barracuda, but I can't find those pictures right now. I'll have to keep looking, I know they're around here somewhere..........................

The thing you may find shocking is that Mustang will bring that kind of coin on Ebay in this economy.

Happy Easter Everyone!

I like the wilderness line of campers!
We will probibly only camp once in the 68 LoFlyte. It's a flipper!:D
1 week camping, aint it the life?!!
Some day I'll have a camper, money and the time to camp!

Always cool to read the latest chapter of Car Hunt Fabozene!

Thanks goldfish65!
I wish I was doing more car hunting.
I've been too busy with the campers lately. Still trying to finish the 68 by may 1 to flip. Then I will get to start on our cool 63 compact!:glasses7:
Have a good one!

Sooooo glad to see ya again! Happy easter to you and ABB, hope you enjoyed it. Car Hunt Fabozene Lives!!!!!:yawinkle:

Thanks CC!
Don't know about it living, more like gasping for breath.
The wind is out of the sails right now.

Got the front end done and windows back in on the 68.
Couple weekends ago I got another for parts and scored!
Got a 2 way fridge, entrance door, cargo door, AC unit and a few other things for the 68.
I also scored fiberglass wheel wells and a cargo drip edge and some other things for our 63 all from the same junker!
After I'm done stripping the chasis should sell for $150.00 with bill of sale. The last one I tore down a few weeks back the chasis sold for $125 but it wasn't as heavy duty as this one. The walls were made of 2x2 and 2x4 studs! That is twice as thick as the walls in the shasta.
Also about ready to take all the aluminum skins from both campers in for scrap. Wonder how much it will pay for all this demo work?
Well see Yall soon!
John.:D

OK, so I've made a decision and whoever doesn't like it, please move on to another thread, this one is mine!

Sense chapter 40 was a Car Hunt car and sense this thread is in Mopar general discussion area I feel I can post about the wagon here if I want to.
Part of the "Car Hunt" is the "Car Fix" after the hunt.
So long story short, I don't care if it is appropriate "here" at this site or not. This is Mopar General Discussions and this car was a car hunt find while I was writing for FABO, see chapter 40.
So anyway I hope to entertain as usual but may start out kinda slow. I've been away for a while so this is going to be kinda new to me LOL
Here goes, Hope I don't get banned!:evil5:

WARNING: Next 2 posts by me are not about ABodies!! But is about a Mopar.
