If you don’t have custom pistons you need a .984 pin and a 2.250 housing bore, or 2.125 Rod pin depending on how they list the Rod.
I don’t want to comment on this because I’ve used both pin sizes in my builds.

Ya, looking for stock dimension rods. You guys build race motors. I'm just looking for something for a 390 stroker.LOL...I try and run chevy rods my time I can.
Smokem if you got em!! I felt guilty for the $135 I spent haha if had more I would have bought a set of heads also. But Christmas is coming and we just spent a fortune on the kids and tbh im pretty much flat broke! Lol$2300 in my cart. Am I nuts? Wait, I need to increase some quantities.

If you do buy the Speedmaster connecting rods, please let us know what you actually receive. As others stated, .984 is correct for stock style Chrysler small block wrist pins. I chickened out and did not order rods, just in case the wrong pin size arrived, like the ones in that sale add I linked.Ya, looking for stock dimension rods. You guys build race motors. I have 2 ld340's and a 340 victor.ANybody bought their small block intakes?
I saw two rods, one was 927 and one was 984. They were both 6.125 length, maybe thats what the mix up was.If you do buy the Speedmaster connecting rods, please let us know what you actually receive. Yes, I saw 2 H beams. The .927's are Chevy size pins. The .984's are stock Mopar. Ya, Mopar stuff is heavy duty! LOLI saw two rods, one was 927 and one was 984. They were both 6.125 length, maybe thats what the mix up was.
Right. But did speedmaster mismark a .927 set as .984 and ship them, or are the listings backwards, or are they both .927 small end with different big ends? I was not willing to test it out, and that is why I am curious what arrives.I saw two rods, one was 927 and one was 984. They were both 6.125 length, maybe thats what the mix up was.
I'm thinking maybe to sell at swap meets. $135 each is pretty cheap unless they are a pile. You could probably make a hun $ on those.I have 2 ld340's and a 340 victor.
I think im good once i get the hughes fi magnum intake.
Jk
I wanna grab a dual 4
I fully understand that. That could turn into..say.. a three-week ordeal of returning and getting either your money back, or the correct rods.Right. Get er done...Oh well, I don't need any parts. It was exciting filling up the cart for a while. I am working on a retirement goal. even though I could make a few bucks turning some parts, I would be better off not spending the cash. I see they take Pay Pal. I wish I had more banked up there. Then I would buy parts I don't need.
I bought one yesterday. I'm pretty sure @318willrun uses one.ANybody bought their small block intakes?
