got the motor mounts covered for you Cliff, just gotta get em' in the mail lol
you'll have to dig up a fine thread nut for one of the mount bolts or you can just use the lug nut i had to substitute lol
Fine threaded nut won't be hard to find.

Looks like where the rust is it is pretty bad but where the rust isn't it looks really solid.

thats pretty bad. nothing that cant be repaired , as long as you have good metal to work off of. i hope the main frame rails are solid

Cool. I had a feeling that that car would turn up something since it looked like the original interior.
It seems to be so far. The hammer test will be next when I can get it up on jackstands.
Right now we have a heavy Notebook to help flatten them out.

Be sure to place them in acid free sleeves before you store them.
I usually have color copies made before hand to display.
Yeah we plan to tape it up and have several copies made.

just weld a 1" x 1" piece of square tubing in between the frame and the k frame and it will be just like a 72 charger.....or a stock car...you wont notice.....

After I replace the floor in my car what is a good rust preventative to apply over it. I don't want anything that will peel.
I have a body guy that likes to use that Por15 to keep rust from spreading. That should do good on your floor.

I got you a black carpet on the way with a brand new (NOS) console. The console is just the plastic only, you will need the woodgrain part that runs the length of the console, a shifter mechanism, and the linkages.

I have already spoken to the sellers and have them on reserve. I will meet with them over the next couple of weeks to pick them up. Then I can bring them down next month when I come get my hand truck.

If it hasn't been ripped off when I was down I have the matching console to it. It was installed in my 68 Barracuda. I will have to go to the shop tomorrow and see if it is still there. I would today but it just isn't a good day.
