Just call you Herold. No matter what the thread is about, you come heralding the news about your Chinese heads.... LOL. I derailed a header thread talking about headers??? BWAHAHAHAa
After thoroughly reading the thread and looking up the headers that he gave the link to and getting myself as well excited for him and for possibly myself as I'm looking for a new set of headers down the road. I know these cheap Summit headers have lasted and worked fine for five years now (and have never touched the ground once on the street...). But if these turn out to be stainless steel and of a decent quality and finish I would be very interested until taking a second look...
On the other hand you did not read thread you did not care enough to do anything but tell everybody about your Doug's headers...
I wasn't derailing like you were with Doug headers I was merely giving the o p a good example of how you could buy two sets of headers or you could buy a set of aluminum heads and stainless steel headers for the same price...

Post #31 he pulled the trigger on these headers let's take a look and see what they look like and start are bickering from there....And still talking about me ignoring him in other threads. He just cannot let it go. lol
Well said Triple RThe headers in the ad are bent the same way as the Hedman, Summit and all the rest. I've used a lot of them. Yes, the steering linkage runs through them. I swear, some people kill me. They own old cars and curl up in the fetal position when something requires a bit of work. Just do it one step at a time. Yes, they hang a little low, but run your car at stock ride height with stock height front tires and you won't have issues. If you ghetto your crap out you can expect grief.
What's the shipping date? When we going to see these things?Well said Triple R
same kind of thing my passenger side torsion bar was touching my header tube and my friend was doing a lineup and noticed it. He just put a chuck on his air tool and did a little Ratatat between the two and made some space..I will say this......the only "problem" I had with these type headers was where the torsion bars run through the tubes. On one or two cars, I had them rattle against the torsion bars. All I had to do was get the car in the air and use two long pry bars to pry the two tubes apart just enough so they didn't hit the torsion bars anymore. Nothin to it. I didn't even have to pry hard enough to dent the tubes. Just pried them apart from each other a little.
Exactly what I was saying in post 46. Simply, they work and perform. Installation isn't the greatest compare to some, and quality isn't as good, as reflected by the price. I also included that I was impressed with Doug's I recently installed with quality, installment and fitment. But you pay 250 bucks more.I will say this......the only "problem" I had with these type headers was where the torsion bars run through the tubes. Are the dougs stainless steel as well?..Exactly what I was saying in post 46. Simply, they work and perform. Master-debater...masturbater.
I think they do but stainless would be the ultimate. I just don't care for the coated headers . Never had luck with the coating not chipping off and then you have rust anyway. So out of all the headers you've installed, you think TTI fit the best in most applications.
I think these headers are saying their stainless steel? The ones that I believe we're talking about the ones that the Op has already ordered?.I think they do but stainless would be the ultimate. ^^^ but then immediately following my post 46, was J par in post 47 with diarrhea of the mouth. I tried to correct the topic in post 48 (which the op hit the like button), but J peg had more diarrhea of the mouth in post 49. Now he wants the bickering to stop. Master Derailer.

This could be next Summer's race...Not my problem anymore.
You OWN it, post 47 & 49. You don't get to start things and then chose where they end...This could be next Summer's race...
The slowest cars with the biggest headers....
I keep trying to change the subject and keep it on the headers, but you guys won't seem to let it go...
Again very interested in seeing them when they get here...
That's Cool! If you didn't buy anything, then I stand by my original post 46. Good luck in which ever way you chooseOK ! Its all about me. If I'm OP your referring to I haven't pulled the trigger on anything. I didn't intend to start a pissing match, if I wanted bickering I'd
go start a fight with the wife. As far
as making things work this is the guy that stuffed a 354 Hemi in a Dart with headers. All I asked as it turns out was a not so simple question. I'm open for ideas that's why I posted and I take everyone's ideas under confederation
so please keep it civil.
I don't think it's all about you I think it's all about the headers? You in post one posted some headers and asked if anybody knew about them? Then I don't know what post it was but Dart 74 ordered some actually! Now I would be very interested myself and seeing what those headers look like that you asked about...OK ! Its all about me.
