I love dental appointments. At least most of my patients say that. Not really, but I have to think that or I would get depressed.

My dentist is a young guy that took over the practice of my old dentist. both were great and want to make sure there is no pain during or after. If you are like that then your patients will be happy to see you. Now the guy I went to as a kid made me afraid. I remember one time I flinched and he grunted the words Whats the matter that dont hurt and quit being a sissy. I hated that guy and you could hear other kids scream sometimes. He also played Neil Diamond all the time on the speakers.

For the last 30 years I have fought against the reputation that dentistry always hurts people. I like to think that I have done that well. 135 google reviews, 4.9 stars (can't please them all). 1,187 likes on facebook.

Need some bodywork and paint on your car?
I need a good dentist. Lol

Well guys just got the Scamp hood in primer so I'm hopping to have it painted and on the car before the end of the week.

Me and the boy went on a little excircise trip today
With everything being canceled during the scamdemic, he's put on a few pounds, and I know his dad was a real poroer at his age, so off we went

Rode our bikes to the park (3 mile round trip) and did one loop at the park
The loop takes about half an hour, but includes 455 stair steps (luckily, over half of those go down)

The idea is to expand on this little by little and do it about every other day

You got to be really careful, because the loop at the park starts with the stairs, but it circles around, almost like a snail shell
So if you don't pay attention you end up walking the same loop several times

I haven't crossed their threshold in years, same as McD's can't stomach their food. We would rather have a pita now. We go to one here in town, they are amazing and so fresh and they are huge. My wife and I split one and we're full when done.
When you guys come here for a visit I'll take you there. Worth the trip.

My father in law is 84 and rides his bike 5 miles once a week. Not like what your doing but pretty good for an old man. Good to teach the young kids some good old fashion exercise.

That's so much like "The Cup and Saucer Trail" on Manitoulin Island Ontario. Only this trail doesn't have many stairs to climb but they sure do have a lot of rock to climb. Diane and I were 65 when we first did it with my son's family and we did really well. Did it again two years later wasn't so easy. But the view at the top was fantastic and worth the effort. Some areas are very slippery and you have to hold onto ropes so you don't slip and get hurt.

BP bought me steak dinner so gonna get some steaks tomorrow and grill them at home. Mine are better than any around here.
Wish you all were here for that and thank you BP I will enjoy them.

it is great exercise (very light cardio, if your on level ground)

me and the wife were discussing the boys weight and i mentioned to her i used to be chunky until i hit highschool
we didnt have school busses and i had to pedal 6 miles one way, 5 times a day
that knocked the pounds right off
(by the time im met the missus, i was 6 even and 175 pounds)

so i figured, no reason to wait for him to get there, might as well get started now

sounds like a blast

there was no need for ropes here (im guessing that wherever you would have ropes, they put in stairs)

there are a few sections where you can get high enough to actually get a great view of the lake

there are also some really nice biking trails we used to go on, i should take him back there once he gets a little in shape

I was joking with some other people that there was a gum tree ahead and you could get free gum. All I heard was "Oh That's Gross" We got a chuckle out of that
