the last time I worked automotive for a living was 94 and it was getting insane then how they packed 5 pounds of crap in a 2 pound hole.

I dont understand it myself the shop charges 120 an hour and the tech only get 30 an hour. that is why they cannot fill those jobs here. in Diesels they charge 110 and the tech gets 35 an hour. however on school bus` the tech only gets 25 an hour and being I had to switch districts I had to start over 6 years ago at 18 an hour. Those pay numbers do not reflect the cost of tools.

And tools don't come cheap.
 
Amazing weather here I've been in North Dakota for over 20 years and never seen it this warm in Dec. 40* today and been around that temp all week.

If I remember way back when I worked at one dealer the techs got 35% of the door rate. This was back in late 70-80's. I'll see if I can find out from my friends.

I'm jealous Fred but don't say it too loud Mother Nature may be listening so don't piss her off.
Looks like 5 days straight here with sunshine but cool. May clean up the 300 tomorrow. I had it undercoated 4-5 weeks ago and haven't washed it yet so you can only guess what it looks like. Just put the Winter mats and snow brush in this afternoon.

Might not get much snow I hope Mark but yea best be ready for it.
 
Went to physio this afternoon. They did electronic massage and heat on both shoulders and neck and some new exercises that I have to do.
What a difference the Prednisone has made. Took 2 last night and two this morning and I can now make a fist without too much discomfort and don't have the feeling like being stuck with a hundred needles. An amazing drug but has nasty side affects. This is for two weeks and then see what happens.
 
Ok guys I know it's winter and cold air makes the sun and stars brighter I think but has anyone noticed the sun and stars seem to be brighter than normal?
I'm no guru when it comes to space but I have noticed the sun has been a lot more white then yellow since I was a kid.
Must be me I'm getting older I guess.
 
Started out with rain this morning actually I think it rained all night but just before we went out this morning the big flakes started coming down. It made for a messy drive but it's not staying around.

Now that you mention it I believe the sun is more white.
