Youngest son works in my town bar 2 nights a week and figured because of the bad weather no one would show up. Nope local farmers jumped in there big tractors and made it for happy hour. LOL

Well chit your guys weather looks awsome! was 15C today rain started in the late afternoon, finally got the wiring figured out on the tandem peterbuilt ,whew ..

My wife wanted me to pick up sandwiches from Arby's today. My order was $19.76. I gave the young fellow at the drive up window a $20 bill and a penny while I was wondering how this would go. He had to call the manager to the register. After she walked away, he was counting out my change. He gave me 4 nickels and 4 pennies. I told him he should have given me a quarter. He just told me that he would have to get the manager. There was a line of cars behind me so I told him to forget it. Bless his heart! The future isn't looking so good. Schools have more important things to teach.

Bought a parka at Hudson Bay, it was $48. Handed the teller a $50 which put in the till and gave me change for a $100. I told her that’s wrong. She lost it “you trying to tell me my job” she barked. No I said took the receipt the $52 in change and the parka and went home smiling. Liked to have saw her face at cash out time.

Similar thing happened to me at McDonald's once. Gave the cashier a $10 bill and got change for a $20. I told her I just gave her $10 but she insisted I gave her $20.

Just finished 400 ft of driveway and two triple car parking lots and the toy box entrance with wall behind snowblower. Sitting in toy box now looking at Dart with a big cold glass of crown and ginger press. Ah so good.
I take Coke in mine

Morning Gents after it was all said and done we received just over a foot of snow, groan. Last year I was driving the Dart wtf oh well like I’ve said many times welcome to manisnowba

Morning fellas and Happy Turdsday.
It was 11 degrees when I woke at 5 this am.
At least the dam rain stopped finally. It only stopped once yesterday and not for long. Some places got hail and freezing rain
The next 5-6 days look nice and sunny and into the double digits
Have a great day

Morning guys looks like a shovel kinda day but first coffee and taking Biffs advise and going to dig the BBQ out for steaks tonight.

Agree on the steaks. Myself I don’t even own a snow shovel let alone know how to use one. Loader or snowblower or it stays there till it melts. That snow we got was the wettest heaviest **** we’ve got in a very long time actually plugged the blower. Not to bad but a first for that 12 year old machine. Time to go start the fire in the toy box. Make it a good one.

My snow blower is a 1970 or around that year. Haven't been out side yet but if it's a wet snow I'll be blowing snow most of the day.
Guess I need the exercise. LOL

Looking at what stopped mine when I cleared it. It wasn’t the snow in the shoot or the impeller although that had a lot to do with it. It was more the snow and or ice was jamming up between back of impeller and housing. Maybe a something like a big plastic washer to take up that space or what. Going to investigate

Still have some snow on the ground this morning, not near as much as Fred and Murray thankfully. It should be all but gone again by the end of tomorrow if the forecast is good. Only 29* now, but expected to be 55* today and 63* tomorrow, finally. Should be able to get the shitbox out of the yard tomorrow, going to visit my brother Saturday, and I will try to remember to take some pictures of his cars.
One more day of work to get through first.

Morning men , will have to mow the lawn next week it’s waking up :poke: 4 c this morning going to 10c a little wet but not a foot of snow:(

Sorry that’s a foot of fresh snow on top of the 16” we still had left. Not complaining that which does not kill me only makes me stronger

I riveted thick pieces of belting to my secondary impeller. It smoked like a ***** the first time I started it. Squealed like a stuck pig and killed the engine on the first fire up. Been working great never since. That's been about five seasons I guess.
