I don't drink beer but, in the mid 1980s, I used to pickup beer in SC or GA (can't remember which) and you could go in their break room and drink free beer while you were there. Employees could also drink free beer on breaks. But no beer could be taken from the break room.
Coors brewery in Colorado I think it was did the same thing. Was a great place to eat and drink.

I got to go to 5 of the provinces hauling pianos in the 80s. I noticed western Canadians seemed to have that British accent. In the eastern part, there were lots of French speaking people. But in Winnipeg, they sounded just like us.

Been to North Carolina a few times, not sure what part you live in but really nice there in the winter.

Busch Gardens in Van Nuys Ca. (LA). I was working a freeway job in a different part of the valley but had my motorhome for shelter in a little park right next to Van Nuys Airport, another story  . Going to the job I had to pass Busch Gardens and get on the freeway. Busch/Badweiser used to either sell their malted grains for critter feed or fertilizer, not sure which. I get headed up the freeway ramp and right in front of me is a semi end dump

View attachment 1716074295 that I had seen leave Busch. Well he did somethin weird headin up that ramp and the truck sorta paused and then lurched forward abruptly. His cargo was semi fluid still and over the tailgate it came:eek:. Me and the Yota were far enough behind to not get bathed in the stuff  but we got plenty as it splashed off the pavement  Got the weirdest look when I pulled into the yard at work and all my coworkers were standing there with their coffee cups in hand and their noses to the wind . I hosed the truck off twice a day for a week to get the odor to fade away finally
It it usually fed to farm animals

The weather changes often lately. We haven't had any snow this winter, but we usually get it a couple times. It can snow and a few days later, it may be 60°. We have had 80° days this past week and temp is dropping today. Saturday high 48°. Down to 38° early Monday.

Been nice and sunny all day but cold hovering around 3 c but windchill -3.
Taking my car out at 5 to pick up an order at The Keg. 10oz Filet and all the dressings. Yum

Well we’re in for it the weather person (see what I did there) says we’re gonna get up to 150 mm of rain oh boy can’t wait .

Morning fellas and Happy Saturday.
Another nice day today and I'm out at 9 this morning with the Cuda. Probably wake some neighbours up but they should be up anyway
Nice weather all week actually and in the low 20's by Thursday. I'll take it
Wish I could pass some of it onto you guys.
Have a great day

Was actually a really nice day yesterday, about 59* with a 25 mph breeze, more of the same today, but looking forward to around 70* Sunday and Monday. Snow is going fast, and I won't miss it.
Went down to the Montana border yesterday with my brother to pick up a whole pile of parts that he's going to need for the 71 Firebird project, tip of the iceberg for this one but it will be a very valuable car when completed. Going to Calgary today and will stop in at his place for a visit.
