Hell of a day here, my old neighbor gal called me at 7 AM and her furnace fuel oil tank sprung a leak. Fuel oil tanks they put in the basement because of the extreme cold. She had fuel oil all over the basement floor and the whole house smelt like fuel. I put a bucket under the leak and shut her power off and opened all the windows and called the fire dept.
Then to top it off I had to go grocery shopping. :BangHead:
jesus..thats an accident that almost happened! you caught my attention here...Did the fire dept take measures to neutralize the fumes?

Yea they have an explosion proof fan running and the old gal is staying at a neighbor's house till the house is cleaned up.

I've witnessed a house explosion due to a faulty relief valve on a hot water tank. It blew upward thru the first floor , second floor and settled in the attic. All that, ignited a spark and set the gas off. 5 homes were completely demo'd in the process, 3 streets over from me In Mississauga (where i live).

WOW is all I have to say

Hi guys.
It's finally stopped raining for now anyway. Might be some later with thunder and lightning.
Finally got the second stage belt for the snowblower. This is right from the manufacturer so should be good this time.
The one from Amazon was too wide for the pulley and rubbed on the chassis and smoked like hell.
On the way home I picked up a bottle of Crown Royal Vanilla. Try some of that on the weekend.
Have a great evening and don't forget to take something out of the freezer for supper Fred.

yeah Mark..it was a mess..it made city tv news. it shook the area. My wife and i didn't know what the rumble was when it happened.. I thought it was a tremor.. Just three streets over. winston churchill/401 area Mississauga
Been past that area many times

they had a car meet every friday at the Rona there... that stopped that and now the young guns with the rice burners are there causing havoc and ruining it for everybody else that goes there for the car talk and social atmosphere. times have changed!
the rice burners screwed it up in Ocean City Maryland a couple of years ago they here been BANNED there for life but the car shows for all the classic cars is going very strong that’s because we know how to act

No one needs an asshole burning rubber through a car show just because he can.

Question: Been trying to find a parasitic draw on my battery for about a week looking at wiring diagram came across this. What is a speed generator? Seems to be in the horn circuit. Tried googling it came up as generator no luck. That’s a new one on me

What the hell does a horn have to do with it? Lost me on that Murray.

Morning guys.
Going to be a grand day today.
Nice after all the rain we've had.
Clean up the 300 day today for sure.
Have a good one

Well..I didnt want to be the buzz kill, but yeah.....the occupants didn't stand a chance. The great thing about getting old, is the fact that you learn to apricate the little things in life. family, a place to call home and a high revving 340.....

Yes horn works, no power draw across any of the fuses. Unplugged everything I could think of that’s not on keyed power and plugged them back in one at a time this morning will be the test of the last circuit. So far everything is pointing to the amp meter have a new one on order, will be here next week. I know .5 of amp or less is normal, so the search goes on.
