I been thinking of changing my center console in my Scamp because I'm not really happy with it. This is what I have now.
Any suggestions would be apricated.

can you give it a light once over with some steel wool to dull it up a bit. give it that brushed s/s look. it will reduce the glare and if your not happy with the outcome, then you have a solid excuse to remove it

That's a good idea thanks John.

I don't know if I could ever remarry after only having to deal with me for the last 20 something years.
I can understand that. My dad got remarried within six months of my mother's passing. It was a pretty good move for him. Turned one of my school classmates into a sister. lol. Awesome bonus family.

My first set of hearing aids was 3 grand from the hearing specialist and lost one and it would have been 5 grand to replace and upgrade them. I can't afford it I don't have insurance that will cover the cost.
In the States you don't need a prescription anymore and so bought a set by mail and trying to get the volume set for each ear Ibut think I need to get used to hearing and adjust them a little at a time.
You really need to have a hearing test to adjust the frequences on the hearing aid that suites you.
You may be missing the soft sounds like the letter C or S.
My daughter uses the letter B to test her hearing aid because it is a strong letter.
I sometimes use the CC on the TV. I used to use a good pair of headphones as well.
Now I just turn up the volume on the tv and hearing aids and seems better.
BTW everyone starts losing their hearing from the day you're born.
That's what the Techs told us at Sick Kids Hospital when they were testing our daughter.
You ever noticed when you come out of a noisy environment like work that you have to turn the music up in the car?
That's because the tiny hairs in the cochlear have laid down due to the noise. They usually stand back up but the older you get they don't.

My insurance gave me the finger, compensation board told me it was my own fault and gave me the finger. So I scrounged what I could borrowed the rest 1 1/2 years paid off. Upkeep is minimal, next big cost in 5 years is new battery around $500. But saving up for that day.
In Ontario we have ADP (Assistive Devices Program) They covered 1000 bucks for the hearing aids so cost me 3500 for the pair and I claimed that on my taxes.
That ringing in your ears is called Tinnitus and usually when you get hearing aids that will go away until you take them out.
The medical association has said bad hearing can lead to Dementia so they encourage people to get hearing aids if needed to lesson your risk.

Got you by 13 years. what drives me nuts is when she starts to speak as I'm leaving the room. sometimes I don't hear her at all.
When our daughter was living at home and we were giving her crap for something. She would turn her back to us and turn her hearing aid off. Little monkey. She is profound so wouldn't hear anything unless we yelled over 90 decibels

Morning guys.
Great car show last night and the weather was pretty good. There was a breeze coming from Helene I think.
We filled the lot and spilled over into the other parts of the lot.
We will still continue till it starts getting cold or dark really early.
Going to a Celebration of Life for my late friend today. It will be held at the car club he belonged to.
May even take the Cuda.
He was a great friend of over 50 years. Sure miss him.
Have a great day

That Power Wagon looks like it has some ten round stripper clips hanging there. Kind of surprises me being Canada has a five round limit in their guns.
Cool car shows you get to go to Mark. I bet you make lots of friends there. My area the shows are far and few between.
