I did a chicken breast that I soaked in buttermilk the other day and turned out nice and tender.

I hear that works well with wild meat too. I think its mostly the sodium.

Save the money and make your own brine. No need for the buttermilk. Add some spices and herbs to the brine. It has some scientific term. The Salt drags the herbs through the bird. Osmosis?

Morning guys.
Looks like rain today.
My wife cooked up 2 racks of ribs yesterday and they were lovely and the meat fell off the bone.
Now we have a 3 rib dinners in the freezer.

Well, it was nice and sunny this morning but it did rain this afternoon and still raining.
Took advantage of the rain stopping and put all the garbage and yard waste out.
May go out to the Vets day ceremony tomorrow then after 12 go and take the poppies down at the Cemetery.

Yesterday and old wrecking yard that had been closed for about 10 years opened the doors.
It was 10 bucks to get in so you could walk around and pick parts.
It will be open again this Thursday.
After this the crusher will come in and clear the land. My friend said most of the cars were pretty rough but one guy scored a 70 ish GTO

Deer hunting over for 2024. 275 lbs of suppers in the freezer. I don’t know how long I can still go hunting when the big one walks out in front of you the adrenaline is overwhelming heard of guys having a heart attack over it.
