massive reconfiguration time again.

You need to get your accelerator pump shot to dump the fuel in as quickly as possible and the biggest shot possible. Don't know what all is available for the Demons, but it's what I think you need - sitting 2000 miles away from you.. LOL
yeah I don't know what's going on here I did move it back to the middle setting when I put the 42 squirters in..

I can only say the cars symptoms that you are reporting. I don't know exactly how to "achieve" it on a Demon, means I've never worked on one. I'm still confident that if you stick with it, you will win. It will be if you run out of patience before winning... lol. I don't even want to say a pair of 2nd hand 4779's for 200 each and we wouldn't even be having this discussion... LOL :poke:

I would really just think Edelbrock when it comes to the primaries. I see no difference what's so ever in the primary circuit and not much in the secondary circuit either. The Edelbrock has a weighted rear door and the Street Demon has a spring-loaded one that's adjustable but that's about the only difference..
It seemed a little Rich when I first ran it and I want to go back to trying the Green Springs again and keeping those metering rods out of the Jets along with moving the pump squirt up to the top notch..

And to be truthful, I couldn't get the bog out of a 600 eddy on my 318 Duster... couldn't get the shot big enough. I even took the nozzles off a 750 eddy I had but still didn't win. I went with the big nozzle Holley and "poof", bog was gone and black marks appeared all over the road :D

I went with the .042 and they do have a .045 and .047... You know where I'm going next..

318 went from a "BOG, COUGH..... ROMP" to this...

Here's something.. squirters show 2 new screws that come with them but they don't. The screws have a hole in them as well and I wonder if this has anything to do with how much flows through them and if the screw that fits the squirter is needed?..

yes on the holes....

yeah I was feeling that as well maybe I can try putting those greensprings back in or even going to the silver?
And o2 gauge is showing rich and that's pissing me off..
Oh my goodness those little pins!??
who's little buzzards I swear to goodness I spent more time crawling around like a crackhead on the ground looking for those things that I did actually taking them off and putting them on! Why why why LOL...

Should have read further. The O2 isn't lying to you. It's a touch rich at cruise and idle, and I'm not sure about WOT because we can't see the fuel ring down in the shell.

The strap is pure white by the picture I see....

That's timing. He's close to max on that.

Jpar, what do the nozzles look like? I've had situations where I've had as big as .060 squirters on heavy foot brake cars with converters that were too tight.

If you have some small drills and a pin vise, I'd start in the high .04xx size and drill it out until the bog goes away.

It may also be its coming on the booster too late, and without digging into what you have I have zero decent guesses on how to fix that, unless it has a main air bleed you can make smaller by a few thou and get it on the booster a bit quicker.

Well maybe that could be the problem that they didn't send me the screws that go with the squirters?

I believe on Holleys. they need a high flow screw when you go bigger than 35 or so squirter. You may have got screwed with no screws.

Do they make a hollow screw for those? The screw may not be limiting the pump shot on those like a Holley.
About halfway down the screw there's a hole going through it sideways??.. and the bottom of the screw has a heavy notch...

.
AGREE! He needs more shot. I also agree, he can drill his way out, but better if they offer sizes to be purchased.

I have to take the carbs off to change those nozzles that would be suicide trying to do it on top of the car...
