ha would do that and grab the guy next to me ....he would get the tingleI just normally stick my pinky in a spark plug wire and get Kitty to spin the engine. I don't know whether it's orange or blue, but I know if it's strong enough to fire a plug.
Bigger gonads than me.I just normally stick my pinky in a spark plug wire and get Kitty to spin the engine. I don't know whether it's orange or blue, but I know if it's strong enough to fire a plug.
I used to do that to my friend who worked in the stall next to mine at the Toyotee dealer. He fell for it every time when I'd call him over. I'd make sure I wasn't grounded. He'd lean against the fender every time and I already had a plug wire off with it running and my finger in the plug. I was barely gettin hit, but when I grabbed his arm I got hit "a little" more but he got the brunt. LOLha would do that and grab the guy next to me ....he would get the tingle
Admittedly, I've not done it on this Hi Rev 7500 box. I've done it on GM HEI and most all Toyotees ignitions through the 80s and 90s. I did it with Mopar Gold Box, too......although unintentionally.Bigger gonads than me.
You'd think it'd at least pop.Would a weak spark not ignite Starting fluid?
Those just verify spark. An adjustable gap lets you know the strength of the spark.Oreilly sells these ones.

That's
super cheapNot real user friendly but has the ideology. I just popped on it. Thanks.

not with 60psiWould a weak spark not ignite Starting fluid?
Combustible pressure did not change over night. sumtingwongnot with 60psi
I don’t know about that. I have set tires beads with zero psi and starting fluid!not with 60psi
Why I waited to respond.yeah thats where a couple of real tests could have fixed this 190 posts ago
fuel could have washed down the cylinders
maybe not a good compression gage
jumped time ,maybe the keyway broke
weak spark, bad no fuel ,fouled plugs
basics...spark,fuel,compression ,time
LOL... thats just one cylinder.I don’t know about that. I have set tires beads with zero psi and starting fluid!
I've already posted the plugged exh. possibility, and He's verified that after all this cranking including the use of starting fluid, that He smells nothing in the tailpipe. There is still the bad neighbor and the potato in the exhaust!
