I just normally stick my pinky in a spark plug wire and get Kitty to spin the engine. I don't know whether it's orange or blue, but I know if it's strong enough to fire a plug.

yup thats the one $40 f-me think it was like 12.....30 years ago

I used to do that to my friend who worked in the stall next to mine at the Toyotee dealer. He fell for it every time when I'd call him over. I'd make sure I wasn't grounded. He'd lean against the fender every time and I already had a plug wire off with it running and my finger in the plug. I was barely gettin hit, but when I grabbed his arm I got hit "a little" more but he got the brunt. LOL

Bigger gonads than me.
Admittedly, I've not done it on this Hi Rev 7500 box. I've done it on GM HEI and most all Toyotees ignitions through the 80s and 90s. I did it with Mopar Gold Box, too......although unintentionally.

yeah thats where a couple of real tests could have fixed this 190 posts ago
fuel could have washed down the cylinders
maybe not a good compression gage
jumped time ,maybe the keyway broke
weak spark, bad no fuel ,fouled plugs
basics...spark,fuel,compression ,time

Why I waited to respond.
I don’t know about that. I have set tires beads with zero psi and starting fluid!
LOL... thats just one cylinder.

There is still the bad neighbor and the potato in the exhaust!
I've already posted the plugged exh. possibility, and He's verified that after all this cranking including the use of starting fluid, that He smells nothing in the tailpipe.
A shop-vac will let You know if it's pretty plugged up, if it starts screaming like You've covered the hose with Your hand in a few seconds, sumtings wong.
If it starts to fill up with pet food, You'll know what's wrong,.....lol...
