Holy CFM Batman!!!View attachment 1715488748 View attachment 1715488749 View attachment 1715488750 This is starting to be fun again guys. Not enjoying the handbport work on the pinch to much as .400 is a lot of aluminum to remove by hand. I’m actually whistling again as I grind away. 5 shop hours today and if I keep enjoying this I may even start talking on a few jobs again.
Holy CFM Batman!!!
Okay I'm a little lost are you back on your procomps or are those your Edelbrock heads
The .400 was material removed not cfm. They are flowing in the 325cfm area.
Okay yeah those are your awesome Edelbrocks, I'm caught back up now. ThanksThese are the Edelbrock heads that I plugged the pushrod holes and moving the pushrod over .300. They are set up for 2.08 valves and are going on my roller cam 408.
Are you going to pour a port?

I am on the same page. The .400 was material removed not cfm. They are flowing in the 325cfm area.
Is it time to release your cam spec's?Unless these things super impress me I won’t go down this road again. Flow wise I’m probably right there with the 360-1 heads on my car right now but I may be trying a few more tricks I’ve learned on them. It’s gone 9.42 but I’m sure the solid lifter cam is holding it back.
Is it time to release your cam spec's?
Watching with great intent
Went back and looked.Cam card is on page one.
Went back and looked.
I like the cam should do well for your setup , but you already knew that.
A day late and 7 pages short.
Keep up the posts, its great.
So...... 12hrs to get the 8 intake ports roughed in to that point.
It adds up fast!!
“Shaping” ports is bad enough, but just making them “bigger” really eats up time.
