New/old motor for the duster

-
Not only the seats but the entire interior. All of the plastics door panels kick panels A pillars and so forth. I was thinking of an entire black interior package deal...
my thoughts ... I'd leave the dash in it... door panels too. Seats are where the money is at. Car will sell for more $$$ than you'd get from them out of the car (just my opinion of course)

you've got quite a list to sell.....
  • interior
  • aftermarket A/C
  • the actual "car"
  • if you were to sell the "entire 4 speed set up - pedals and all", that's a chunk of change
  • of course, the stroker if you so choose....
  • NOS system

I actually started by taking my feather duster trunk lid off and my feather duster Hood off. Then I took both of the doors off 100% complete. I forgot how God dang heavy those dang things are! Out in my shed I have a skinned trunk lid that I used to pin on and I'll put that on and I have a hood that I brought about 6 years ago that's perfect, I think I paid 40 bucks for it. And I have my pin straight original doors that are completely gutted and lightweight. I think I took somewhere in the neighborhood of 55 lb out of each one of them..

That 360 4bbl with 3.54 gears will be a hot rod in that tin can !

I called Brewers today and they said 48 to $5,200 for the entire setup. Flywheel clutch bellhousing transmission shifter clutch linkage pedals for the whole enchilada...
They're one year back logged and require a $100 deposit to get in line...

Don't forget summit wants over $600 for that dual quad intake manifold... The two brand new Street demons.... The k&n air filter the tool card linkage the door quad fuel rail LOL...

This is kind of the point that I couldn't add all the stuff up and sell the car the way it is with no paint... I can just sell the stuff I don't want and I can keep the stuff I do..

I just have to unbolt the headers and pop the valve covers off and it's ready to chain up and come out...

I forget, what did you say you're going to do with the 410?

Spent the day upside-down under the dash unhooking all of the electronics... MSD two step launch control, Window switch, MSD6AL, MSD Start/retard, The nitrous switch board and all of It's Wiring... a/c had to all come out as well along with wiring hosea condenser evaporator and dryer...
The new inspector was on duty as well today...

We have a black lab, he is like 15 had him since a pup, wife trained him.
He pays me no attention, unless he wants something, I can walk in the door from work, he might open an eye.
Wife comes home from work, he greets her at the door, before she comes in the house.
The entire rest of the evening, he will shadow her so bad, if my wife stops walking, the dog will run into her.

My ten year old whippet met my wife when it was six months old and same thing completely disowned me...
I trained it and it's well behaved barely lifts an eye when I come in the door... The new one is six months old now and she's pretty attached to me...

Dude, when I say trained, she spent a lot of time with this dog, he does all the tricks.
The best one is she showed him the boundaries of the yard, we live in town, no leash needed, just open the door and let him out.
He does wander over to the neighbors next door, and will walk right in if the door is opened, because the retired guy gives him treats.

The ten year old knows all her commands and all her boundaries but the six month old is a loose cannon lol...

I had a.nice conversation with Ken at Oregon cam this morning and he confirmed it wouldn't be a good idea to put the duster motor in the power wagon with it's current cam...
So I am probably going to put the Hughes 1.6:1 rockers and Smith brothers push rods on the power wagon engine...
It has 273 rockers now and should go from 470 lift to 501 lift...

I put a good 9 hours in on the duster today...
Drive line became a problem but I moved past that and got several things done .. if I can get the driveline fiasco in order tomorrow I'll de looking at possibly starting it by the weekend...
