'65 Dart 408, EQ heads, 750DP, 550 bracket cam, 904/2.74/5000stall, CalTracs, 10.5 tubed slicks. Been tuning, working out the bugs. 11.30-11.06 not under full power. Last pass yesterday at TNT 10.69/122.

Well, let's just say, "Not as delivered" from the factory.
 
My car currently runs 11.20 with a 1.50 60 ft at 117mph.
Trying to get into 10,s. My engine uses w-2 heads with a .650 roller cam.
Please post your entire engine and car chassis combo.
I am trying to see what area of the car I need to improve.Stroker combos
are welcome as well as stock stroke too.
Please help me attain my goal.

I have 6 cyl. torsion bars on the front and Cal Trac bars on the rear with a 9" Hoosier tires.
Yes, it a 340 with a *.050 bore, cast crank, 750 thermoquad with stock cast iron intake, flat pistons and less than stock lift. (.462/.473).

Can you show us your 330 and 8th mile ET and mph? 1.50 60 ft ought to be getting you into the high 10's if you have enough top end power.
Questions:
1. How are you launching? Transbrake, footbrake, off idle, what rpm?
2. What tranny and what are you shifting at?
3. What rear end gears?

1970 Duster, caltracs on V8 leaf springs and 6 cylinder torsion bars in the front.
It does right at 10.0 132mph in the 1/4, 6.35 107mph in the 1/8 with a 60 ft. around 1.40 footbraking and leaving at 1500rpm 3 speed torqueflite 4.56 Dana 60.
Currently running Hoosier 29x12x15 slicks @ 13.0lbs, shifting at 6500 for 8th mile racing and 7200 for 1/4 mile.
5.7 GenIII hemi stroked to 414ci, Apache heads, comp cam, drag pak intake and 1050 Dominator. 2800 lbs without driver.

Im still racing but im trying to make a switch to a Gen 3 .So maybe im not racing while making the transition lol.

Roller cam??? Called some places no luck. comp,cran please inform me where to find this... Also what kind of Pistons ya using thanks Dave
