I put in a 998 tranny (904) and dropped 3 tens. You can too.

74 dart sport, demon front end, r5p7 358 cubic inch, 3375 with driver, full interior, bench seat fold down rear seat, through the mufflers, 28x12 dot tires, best pass 9.98 @134, runs consistent 10.02-10.05, I run in 10.0 index, went 5.87 1/8th and 9.34 1/4 on 6 second 125 shot of spray. freshened motor now with je nitrous pistons, going to spray 250 for the entire 1/4, hoping to run high 8's, sorry for the huge picture

You need to be over in the 9's section my friend! J/K. I've always had a spot for the R5P7 engines and would one day like to have one in an A body. Those suckers just scream. Nice to see one in a drag car! I would love to hear this thing going down the track, or down the street for that matter.

What transmission are you running. How much mods did it take to the K Frame to fit the motor and exhaust. Can you post some pictures of your engine bay?

727 trans with adapter plate, k frame needed to be notched but I have since gone tubular k frame, I had to build the headers, crank adapter, motor mounts, its a lot of work and if I had to do it over I would just build a nice big block, but there is a neat factor in having a nascar motor in a street car, it is definitely fun, and the dry sump oiling kicks ***,
