For loganscuda: Looks great. If you don't mind saying, do you have any rear suspension mods or body mods to sit the wheelwell over the tire like that? And what is the width and backspace of your rear wheels? I'm looking to run the same size tire on my 69 fastback. Thanks for any info.

We’re the springs moved inward?
Thanks

I have Firmfeel leafs -1 drop. Doctor Diff leaf hanger offset. 8.8 rear shortened 3 inches. I will pull the wheel off and check backspacing. I do have a 1/4 spacer on them to move the out.

That’s a lot of tire for up front. It’ll rub if the front end parts are out of wack/worn, etc...
Looks great though!

The 215/70 is 25.9”, that is really pushing the limit. Turn your wheel out and see how much clearance you have at the front edge of the fender. The 225/70 is 26.5” tall.

FWIW, I had issues with my wife’s Cuda and 26X8-15’s MT’s.

Hey Rob, i was running 225 70 14 before i pulled them off stuck them in the rear of my 64dart on a 14x7 rim, tire looked nice and filled it up in there i rebuilt the frontend 3 years ago 225 70 only rubbed full lock turns on passenger side it rubbed in the inside. But i do like my car front end nice and high no too high so when i catch the ricers over train tracks i dont need to hit the brakes lol

Looks like everything clears pretty good!

In the back, those helper spring clamps might lead to issues. They shift around more than your might think, there was a set on my Duster before I bought new springs and I had one shift and damage a tire, it wasn’t even a tight clearance to it before it moved. Hard to tell from the picture angle how close it really is, but I don’t like those things.

Just got the front 14x6 4inch back space 225 70 rear 275 60 15x8 4.24 back space, now body work time lol.

Super stock springs, stock location.location.
4.30 posi 8-3/4. Bbp
727 with fairbanks kit and frank lupo 3800 stall.
Coil over shocks.
Rear sway bar.
295/60/15s
10x15 w 4.5 backspace from jegs. With a lil mod.
They dont rub or touch the lips as its stiff as hell back there but I wanted something fat and ordered them before I changed to the bbp. They are borderline pushing past the lip. I coulda gone with 5" backspace but didn't realize the new axles kicked em out another 1/2". I gotta get some nitto's now tho as the 340 just smolders the street radial's like they might as well be 195/75/14s. Absolutely no grip from a dead stop or even 10-20 mph kickdown.

17x8 5.5bs up front with a 245/4517
17x9.5 5.5bs in the rear with a 255/45/17
Torsion bars are all the way up/ nothing is in the car as to why its so high up. Car has full QA1 upper/lowers/ strut bars with PST 1.06 t bars and c-body steering and Hotchkis rear leafs. Can't wait to see how it sits once everything is back in the car/ front end dialed in.

1965 barracuda, rear springs are moved in but stock wheel well but running Yukon axels as they push the offset out 3/8 inch.
Rear tires 275 40r17 and rims are 17 x 9 with 5.95 back space. front rims are 17 x 8 running 225 45r17's with 10"spindles and disc brakes.
I bought these rims from American muscle, yea a mustang place but they were awesome at helping me get the right offset.
