Who’s caster- body cart? Home made?
Glad your Ok.
It’s one off an old Job box I had. I forget the brand, it’s rated for 1045 lbs, stamped on the side of the caster.

homemade, made it 5-6 years ago now. Never had any issues. Thing was all 1/4 inch steel and all the welds held. My guess is that the shift of the weight to the one corner when that caster popped off just folded it up.

funny thing, I was just considering buying a rotisserie last night and talked myself out of it. Don’t need it really now that the floor pans are all in. Probably just bolt up all the suspension stuff and set her down on all 4s

Man, I can’t tell you the sinking feeling I had as I watched this thing hit that floor. I thought for sure the chassis would twist

I did not like the way my floors looked, especially the hack job trans tunnel I put in. So I cut it all out this morning and started over with a one piece design. Ran out of time and still have some fitting and trimming but I’m already liking this one way better

Likely you already fit your seat with that wide of a tunnel...... I was thinking there was a reason the tunnel is somewhat narrow aft of the transmission.

Yes, 2012 Challenger buckets. They fit, it’s tight but clears. The T56 is huge. With the tunnel in and the trans raised in place, I have about 1/2 clearance all around between the tunnel and the trans.

the tunnel does narrow down at the same angle roughly as the trans gets narrower. Then I tied it into the remainder of the factory tunnel in the rear floor pan area. I’ll put the seats in tomorrow and get some pics to show just how tight it is. Reminds me of how tight the drivers seat in a Humvee is to the trans tunnel

I figured you were on it. The tight side is always the passenger side because of the factory offset in the driveline for the steering box. My drivers side fit fine, but with the small bump I added for the GV, the passenger side is tight, especially on the lap belt.

Yeah, that’s where I ran into trouble at first. I had to notch and bend the passenger side in at a different angle than the drivers side as I needed about an inch more room initially.

I put the seats in and went ahead and put the doors on this morning just to make sure as that is one thing I didn’t think of, the doors, and how far they went into the cabin. It’s close but I’ve got the passenger side right against the tunnel and have about 2 and half inches between the door and the edge of the passenger seat. Enough room for a roll bar if I want to go that route.

Not a fan of a roll bar in a street car. I don't look good with helmet hair.
Yeah that’s kind of my concern. I don’t expect to get much below 12-12.5 so I really won’t have to have it

still some finishing touches to do but here's a sneak peak.

Did someone say 4 bucket seats? Yep, that’s right. Mocked in for now, the rear ones will get finally fitment once I get the tubs in later this week or next.
Anyone know if you can buy seam sealer by the 55 gallon drum lol

Lunch time. But here’s progress so far. Braced everywhere I can think of. I’d prefer to do this with the quarter panel full mounted but I think this will suffice.

Well I guess it’d help if I’d wait until the pics upload to hit post.

Still fitting it to get it right by here’s some in process shots. It does appear I’ll be able to retain the factory trunk hinge set up after all. Yes I know the tub is tilted forward, just hanging there and not the final location.

I have one , didnt really want it , but was afraid the h.p. would twist the body , been there and done that .
I put mine in where I couldn`t contact it if I wanted to.

Pics? I have the main hoop already

Nice! The shoulder bar is what gets me on the roll cage. Really don’t want one if I don’t need it. I have to retain my backseat for the kiddos
