Another cast iron piece done. This one is a 10” skillet. The largest one so far. Before and after…
The shine on the finished piece isn’t oil. It is completely dry. The shine is from the polymerized veg oil laid down during the seasoning process. That’s what makes seasoned cast iron non-stick for cooking.
Almost have a full set now!
