Almost 1/2 way around patching inner wheel tub. Opted for small sections and weld them in.
Slow process,but progress nobetheless. Hoping to get right side done, then on to other side.
For plug weld, i drill a 5/16” hole almost through both layers and it makes like a bowl. Seem to work very well, and a few are almost perfect, no grinding.

Out of the group here I think Toolman Mike and I were the only ones last year. The FABO group has maybe 40. We met on the show field for a pic and beers.
Planning to go next year.

The Chiefs are playing so-so today. Up on the Ravens 17-10 at half.
 
I wish I had time to watch football but no such luck.

I HOPE I can find a place to watch the Superbowl in February, while I am out of the country. I got doinked in 2017. Couldn't find a venue...
 
I have to say the original body metal is soft. Very soft. I guess so it can be formed in the dies easily.

I was there last year and will be again this year. First day scrounge for parts second day look at cars.
