Diesel heater? A torpedo heater? Those things make me sick.

Yup torpedo heater made for diesel,175k btu and pretty drafty 3000 sq ft shop.
Burns pretty clean.

When I run my torpedo heater, i run it with a door open and half the heater outside and with it pointing in. The reason is because it will burn enough oxygen that you will feel light headed if you run it in the shop with giving it a fresh air source .

Mine is 210k BTU. I run it for 20 minutes and the shop is comfortable for 2 hours

Run mine 8 hr straight sometimes when below freezing.
My shop has 16 ft walls with two vents on top that do not fully close.
It only gets that cold in January and February.
Remember ,I live in Texas
Ran it today to get the shop above 60 to paint.

Sorry guys. Not buying it. If I lived in Texas (or somewhere warm) I would have electric radiant or the like. L P is much cleaner.
