Stop in for a cup of coffee

Man, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I suppose Tike is pretty close to true center of PA. Although I don't know his exact location. Somewhere between Hoppyland and State College

I need to find something to dry me up. The post nasal drip/coughing is killing me.

For that, I do Dayquil too if I have to be functional. Just have to be careful with High BP. The Quil bros will f you up if you aren't careful. LOL Try to limit to one dose of each per 24hrs. The Day stuff will wind me up like too much hi-test coffee.

I do a shot at first sign of a cold. Miss one night of sleep from a cold and it's a downward spiral.
Original green ****. And Wallymart Equate green is just as good at much less $.

They took the good decongestant out of Nyquil a while back, that way they can sell if off the shelf...

If you want good "over the counter" decongestant, you must see the pharmicist and sign off that you are not running a meth lab.... You can only buy a small amount at a time, thanks to our genius government.... ...

Example: If you want the good Sudafed, you must go to the pharmacy counter and ask them for the Sudafed D, the "D" is the stuff with the good decongestant... Otherwise you can buy the regular stuff off the shelf, but it won't work to clear your sinuses....

So new tire time for wife's Edge. looking at around a grand, BUT what do you guys think of these?

you may laugh, but I'm considering making an adapter plate and just bolting a carb off a briggs and stration 12 hp on there

Cork float.
Carb off of a similar displacement Honda industrial engine? Some of those Hondas have many after market parts available also. Fer instance if it's about 400 ccs perhaps the GX 390 carb would work.

Go to the pharmacy and ask for the Sudafed D with the 12 hour release.... That stuff works great...

If you have a cough and have a bunch of mucus in your throat, then I suggest getting Mucinex D as it will also work on your sinuses and help loosen up some of the mucus so you can cough it up....

I also like to go into my walk in shower and make it a steam room... Cover the 'vent' holes im the door with a towel and run the shower for a few minutes and let it steam up in there, then go in there and cough up as much mucus as I can and also put some hot water under my nose and let the steam help clear my sinuses...

Notice with both medicines, you have to ask for the "D" version, or it won't have the good decongestant....

Here are what I recommend, 12 hour Sudafed D, Mucinex D, or the house brand version....

Sudafed D 12 hour and comparable house brand:

Or either one of these, Mucinex D is good for a cough:

The Sudafed is what I DONT want. Very bad fo high BP. The new stuff works fine...
The D is Dextromethoraphan for coughs. That is in Nyquil

If it will react to other conditions, then don't use the Sudafed... Find what works for you...
