Damn they don't give it away and add in the extras but look at what you get when the whole package is under the hood. You can spend 3-$5000 just building a 318. LOL

The 5.7L set up is even less expensive and you can get the crate engine complete with controller for around $8k direct from Mopar with 383 hp and 417 lb-ft torque.Damn they don't give it away and add in the extras but look at what you get when the whole package is under the hood. Meh, I get that once a day it seemsLooks like I'm in chit on Facebook....
Shhhhhhh! I should be there anyway with my Swinger. Then we will make you park in the modified section at MITP @toolmanmike
Yeah it’s cool and all. But honestly, starting to wear on me even. Too many people jumping on that band wagon now. I used to love seeing those swaps but now, mostly pass them by unless it’s a total off the charts build.Damn they don't give it away and add in the extras but look at what you get when the whole package is under the hood. We all should be in that section. I think if we all obeyed those rules there would not be many cars in the 100 and 200'sShhhhhhh! I should be there anyway with my Swinger.
At those prices, I am very tempted to get the full kit and drop it in my GTS. It would be badass. The 5.7L set up is even less expensive and you can get the crate engine complete with controller for around $8k direct from Mopar with 383 hp and 417 lb-ft torque.

You and I as well as others here have driven 5.7's, 6.1's and a dozen rides in a new Demon. They are a force to be reckoned with and they would be big fun in a old Mopar. At those prices, I am very tempted to get the full kit and drop it in my GTS. It would be badass.
Rear tires and Hurst shifter in my 66.We all should be in that section. I think if we all obeyed those rules there would not be many cars in the 100 and 200's
Of course, I could drop it in the ‘66 since it is already kinda resto-mod anyway. Hell, I could probably sell the engine in there now and pay for half of the cost! You and I as well as others here have driven 5.7's, 6.1's and a dozen rides in a new Demon. It has been done. Heck even a 5.7 would be great fun and not overdone. Replace a 235 horse small block with a 400 horse mill. Big fun. With a o/d trans and the right gear = 25 mpg+ on the highway and still be able to boil the hides a city block at will.Of course, I could drop it in the ‘66 since it is already kinda resto-mod anyway. The ‘66 has 3.55 rear gears now so I wouldn’t even need an OD tranny. It has been done. Heck even a 5.7 would be great fun and not overdone. Replace a 235 horse small block with a 400 horse mill.
