Stop in for a cup of coffee

Looks like I'm in chit on Facebook....

Meh, I get that once a day it seems

Damn they don't give it away and add in the extras but look at what you get when the whole package is under the hood. You can spend 3-$5000 just building a 318. LOL
Yeah it’s cool and all. But honestly, starting to wear on me even. Too many people jumping on that band wagon now. I used to love seeing those swaps but now, mostly pass them by unless it’s a total off the charts build.

At those prices, I am very tempted to get the full kit and drop it in my GTS. It would be badass.
You and I as well as others here have driven 5.7's, 6.1's and a dozen rides in a new Demon. They are a force to be reckoned with and they would be big fun in a old Mopar.

Of course, I could drop it in the ‘66 since it is already kinda resto-mod anyway. Hell, I could probably sell the engine in there now and pay for half of the cost!

It has been done. Heck even a 5.7 would be great fun and not overdone. Replace a 235 horse small block with a 400 horse mill. Big fun. With a o/d trans and the right gear = 25 mpg+ on the highway and still be able to boil the hides a city block at will.

The ‘66 has 3.55 rear gears now so I wouldn’t even need an OD tranny.

I don’t think SLO @Sublime one has ever seen the ‘66. I wonder if he will like the color? :D

I think this engine could bring a few bucks toward the project...

This will be an interesting.
NWS posts there is 70% chance of rain showers, most likely between midnight and 3 AM.
Wunderground states there is only a 6% chance of precip overnight.
We'll see who was right in the morning.
