To be honest, never had bourbon.
Not much for straight up liquor.

Got caught up with a polish guy once, big glass of wodka and a shot glass of coke.
Reasoning was vodka was cheaper.in poland. Twas a rough day.

My grandma used to drink Jim Beam and club soda.... :D

Tried Pure Class Vodka over Christmas. Great for drinking straightand I am not a vodka person. Mmmmm

Bad news is, I just broke one of my Hemis. Badly. And hurt my back in the process. Had it on the hoist and was lifting it with an engine chain, bolted all the way in with a grade 8 bolt, had it almost up high enough to bolt to the stand, when the bolt head snapped right of, engine and hoist and me went to the ground. Landed hard on my back on concrete. I don’t bruise easily and my wife says my entire back is black and blue.

Now the worst news is, the block on the hemi is busted. Big hole in it. And sadly, it was my 09 eagle head Hemi. Hole is about 3x5 inches . Pics to follow. Now to find out if I can swap everything for the heads onto one of my other 5.7 hemi blocks.

Vodka was my weakness. At the end of my drinking career I was putting down over a liter of Kettle One a night. Glad those days are over!
 
My drinking days are long gone.
A cold one once in a while or the tall red ones with an umbrella on the cruise ship.
No time to over indulge now.
so i guess i under indulge.

My drinking days are...today and tomorrow. lol
I enjoy beer, but usually only 1-2 in a day and not every day. Especially some of the strong craft beers (imperial stouts #1). About a case a month total brews. As for the stronger stuff... Couple bottles (750ml) of bourbon a year. An occasional glass of wine or other mixed drinks...
 
I was drinking 3 fingers of scotch every night. Just enough to help me relax and sleep. Not real often now but also not much when I do.

That's a expensive habit. I have been getting into some more expensive whiskeys and bourbons lately. Usually the more you pay the smoother it is.

You are really going to like him, he will be sorely missed. He is the consummate perfectionist, and has some serious work ethic. He demands the same from all those around him. Everyone here is excited to see him have a new opportunity, there was really nothing left for him to achieve in Fargo. 7 National Championships in 8 years speaks for itself. That is super hard to do at any level. Tavern dart league teams can't string that many wins together. He is a phenomenal coach and basic all around good guy.

got 2 of those glasses for Christmas. But don't have my initials on them and I don't have anything good to put in them right now. :( I did just check and it appears PA is finally getting Buffalo Trace in there stores. So think I will round up a bottle of that ASAP.

I am not a fan of the Glenlevet. I am fairly new the the Scotchs. The older and smokier the better. Although I was given a Laphroaig scotch. Yuck...extreme peet moss smoke with that one.
