Dunno. Its only got 300,000 on it.
Terminal looks cooked too. I haven touched starter in a couple years so wtf?

And since we are taking Barracuda's a question for the brain trust.
Question concerning the interior heater vent hose.
Question is was there any sort of clamp that held them in place attached at the vent tube??
Mine were attached only at the two vents under the dash next to the heater box. At the top of the dash weren't attached at the vents.
I know why. They used an aftermarket 2" wide hose and but had a 2 1/2" opening on the vent tube at the dash. Wasn't coming close to covering the vent tube.
As usual thanks in advance for any input.

No clamps but the originals have a metal strap built int the end. Don't the vents and outlets have a tab for it to catch on?

I don't think they do. I'm missing the metal straps.

I just ordered a set with the adapters as they called them from Detroit Muscle.

Could have changed between yours and 75...Mine had a small metal clip that went on hose and gripped the plastic. The ones I got from DMT are rubber hoses. not like original fabric over spring. Don't recall if I clamped. Think they fit pretty tight. Another thing- my original had a metal piece on it for driver side to keep it clear of the wiper linkage.

Gen 2 barracudas had 3 flavors, convertible, fastback and coupe (notchback). Many have said the notchback looks like a roadrunner that got left out in the rain and shrunk! I really like the lines on the notch..
I always wanted to do a notchback as a “baby bird” and confuse the crap out of people at car shows...

I'm sure that's about all I can get in todays world. I need something other than the hardware stuff on there now.
An original set would be nice, I'll keep and eye out for them.
On the other hand you really don't even see them.
