Stop in for a cup of coffee

I guess I just don’t taste fruit, definitely taste the vanilla
The vanilla comes from the oak. One of the first non smoke flavor to pick up. There are a couple at out spirit tasting group that can pick out the fruit and floral notes. It takes acute taste buds for sure and the barrel the reviewer sampled could be a bit different. The same batch in a different location in the warehouse can be a huge difference.

Odd how that all works ain’t it?

This month we celebrate St. Pattys Day. I'm sure we will sample some peated malts. Not my favorite but still interesting.

I find it very interesting.
Having done tons of work with flavors, taste masking and understanding the variations in subjects taste responses over the past 30 years, I can say it is incredibly fascinating.

Savory, sweet, bitter, earthy, high notes, low notes and everything else across the range.

Human taste buds and interpretation of flavors is incredibly varied...and unique to each person.

Well I pulled the 6.1 out of the Demon in preparation of paint. I can only say it was done with some assistance from adult beverages. I must emphatically explain that I do not endorse adult beverages when engaging hydraulic lifts and rigging equipment. For the obvious safety reasons. They are as follows, potentially you could totally screw up mix ratios on whiskey, you could spill your drink. You could accidentally drop your drink and break your mug, and you could get in a terrible row with your neighbor over which is best Zepplin or Alice In Chains. Suffice to say drinking whilst pulling an engine is rife with dangers. On to paint!

They took it in on a trade and paid a lot for it!!! Can you say screwed!!! Have pictures....later,

Oops

Reminds me of the "old days" Hertz car rentals had Hurst 442 Oldsmobile's for rent. After a few months, most of the engines had been swapped out by the renters for the regular power-train! One of those cars now would be very rare!
