So I think I’m gonna mock up the darts front sheet metal this weekend. Supposed to be rainy but 55-60.

Did a little testing with my needle scaler, cleaning the deck on the hoist. It uses less air than i figured.
Got 3 feet cleaned up,all the flaking powdercoat comes off pretty easy.
So im going to keep at it in my spare time, then perhaps paint it this weekend.

They do work well. Spent many a hour with them in the USN.

I would look for a CP one the HF ones use a ton of air and the needles crack.

Dam they went up in price!
Mine is princess auto, paid $35 and it works great.

I am blown away on what they go for now. Think I paid $40 but that had to be twenty years ago also.
Frank how well does that work on undercoating?
Not much into donuts anymore but plain Pennsylvania German donuts are still a nice treat. Not like dunkins
Old crusty hard undercoating is gone in an instant. Any gooey stuff forget it. Torch and a putty knife followed with varsol if you want it gone.
Sometimes cheap, even if its throw away makes sense.
I won't buy or use grinder disks or anything like that from China. Not worth the risk.
Hell last night I ended up at Walm*rt, first time in I don't know how many years. Needed to get a couple of electric heaters and they were the only place that had something. Price was good, got two. I'll swing by the garage a little later and see if they'll get me by until the landlord finds out what's going on with the gas company. Apparently the took the meters out yesterday. Something about tearing up the street.
LOL just got a e mail from the 440/6 guy that the distrib was to short for. His engine builder had the oil shaft drive! Pretty funny actually. We have all done something similar.
