Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning Coffee mob! Now work begins for me. I have most everything all heavy tacked up just waiting to get engine and tranny out of way to finish weld. Got to really looking at it last night and holy smokes a lot of work to go. Cannot begin to explain how much fun I had last night. When done I got to thinking it was the grass roots of our hobby. A couple of nobody, regular joes with limited skill and unlimited zeal, rocking out to good music, sipping adult beverages pulling a motor out of a car. A timeless endeavor that has been going on since the first car was born.

I usually got them at the fire station near work. Not going that far. The legion has them, I think they are open to public, but may be sold out cause they sell most on pre-order

Have been back in Vinh Long for a few days, yesterday went in a rented van, with the family to Ha Tien, a beach town about 100k away. Just got back here now, stayed overnight. Pics from dinner last night, right on the street in front of the hotel

Left the hotel there this morning,and visited several places. Arrived at this community beach, not far from Cambodia, at about 10am. They preceded to eat, breakfast, and drink beer, Yes at 10am...Just about every meal you eat, there is beer. Swam in the ocean, and drove a jet ski around for a while. Sorry, no pics of jet ski

Morning all...just a stop, got to get the granddaughter going and off to school.
For some reason couldn't fall asleep las night. Finally at 1:30 I took some sleep meds we have here.
Wake up at 5:45 for the granddaughter arrival and put her back to bed.
Cheryl got up and I went back to bed.
SO my morning is a little screwed up, but I'll be back on track after a cup or two.

Ohh yeah... Went to the morning fresh fish,catch of the day, market, right at the docks. Pretty neat to see

We are going to the Midway museum. Will be a fun day. Sad tho we are going on an aircraft carrier as a museum that was still in active duty when I was still in the Navy....Makes me feel old....

Happy Birthday, Tim, that'll be a great time for sure! I did not know you served in the Navy.
