Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning Coffee mob. Well it is official, I am old. After a serious day of yoga mixed with a grinder removing spot welds on inner fenders and fitting the new one in place I am crippled! Hands still haven't opened up. And back is just one solid piece of sore. I am however thrilled with the results and cannot believe I was so hesitant to replace the inners. It totally changed the look of the engine bay. I will heal up here for a couple of days then attack the other one. Hemi gets her stitches out today and then 3 days later I get to drop the cone of shame. Yeah!

Well off for a Mickey D run. Its only a half mile away. We have no eggs, bananas, or milk.
I was told I forgot to go to the store...lol!!

Best one I ever went to was a friend that was a old school 1% biker from NYC. Had it in a firehouse and you had to be in biker dress, even grandma. Got a wee bit out of control, bikes up and down the stairs, burnout contest in the reception area. Cops came a few times. and the firemen had a hose charged in case of riot control! Was great, a week before I went into the USN. Was seriously worried when they gave a pee test because of a contact high was pretty much a reality!

They do look nice. I know what you mean. Working on my car this winter a few times spending time in contorted positions and you pay for it the next day...yikes!!
I tried the yoga once and all it did was show me how tight I really was and let me know my handful of painful joints were still there.
Tennis is drill is something I can do and enjoy. A hour and a half of moving (and not to far), and hitting something.
Beats the treadmill or dreadmill as I call it.

Not looking forward to my job today, brake and clutch peddles coming out for the big single brake peddle. Good morning coffee crew

My evening work has been taking its toll too. Forgot my welding helmet so had to use the old flip style. I remember why i bought a ‘tronic one....
And to add insult to injury, i had to lay under cab and weld too.
Thats why i have a hoist, do i didnt have to do that sort of crap any more. And even easier with a rotisserie.

Hah!
Just remembered!
Under dash work, that is what’s booked. ‘69 dart coming in on the frost,to figure out why clutch is binding. Some shaft is slipping or pedal is shifting to the side.

This neighbour had rotator cuff surgery, so under dash is a no go for him.

Actually Mike it took me just a few minutes to pull that pedal assy I sent you.
That is what I am seeing, my seat is out, so it should not be to bad, just two bolts on the dash , my master cylinder is already off

The lift is a savior of the old back for sure!
Cant wait to get my garage build...with a lift!!
Wife asked why I'd increased the square footage...couch, chairs, tv, frig.
She asked what about a bathroom. I replied the shop will have a back door. We do look out on 200 acres of woods, no bathroom required for the guys.
Just don't plant any flowers back there...

I think there are two that come in from the firewall also, might be wrong on that one though.

Same here, but I still put a funnel in a corner for those cold days I am heating the shop and the hot days I am cooling the shop, had one in every shop I have had

Have water come in there. I really regret not having any and also floor drains on the lift side.

All I have is the 4 MC bolts threw the fire wall and two connect to the dash each side of the steering wheel

Tons of "what I should have done" after you get it built. My biggest issue right now is no ceiling and the lighting sucks bad. I should have put translucent panels under the eaves! Not bad in the warmer weather with the door open but winter it is a cave. Before you get plans made brainstorm it on a thread and get some ideas.

Over rate the lift also. Mine is 8K and bareley gets the truck up on it.
My lift will be for the old cars. I have a 3/4 ton truck and have no desires to put it on a lift. It sits high enough I can get under it of I need to.

That's prob what I am thinking of. Need a new dual master? I have one for the cuda that came with it but plan on leaving the stock single one in.

You will regret it if you get a old heavy *** c body. Only a few hundred more. I got mine from Wolfie long story on it but I could afford it then. Make sure that you can get extensions for the pads also you will be surprised when you may need them. I do not trust 4x4 blocks.

Good morning all. c\_/
I'll share my campground bit... "If you're just gonna to pee, count the trees. Don't go past 32. The next is turdy-tree". Then one of the couple of guys who know this bit will say "No wait! 32 is now turdy-too".
