Stop in for a cup of coffee

That was cool!
I would love to do that. But not enough to actual take it on. Any road racing is serious $$ and commitment.
There's part 2 where Ken gets caught in traffic and the really has to use the brakes with little time to cool 'em.
That's when the 325 finally gets passed him for real.

Right now, his niece is cleaning the empty house, with one helper. They been here 5 hrs already

Then, on top of all that, they finally came to reseal my driveway. 8000 sq ft in 100 degree heat. I'm drinking Beer in the shade, and watching..

So, I attempted to do a nice burnout today. Well, the dry rot cracked tires werent happy trying to hold the car...then it lit on fire..!!! Had no idea what or where but there were flames. Garden hose wouldn't unroll, so I ripped it from the side of the house which then tied the hose into a knot... finally got water and got the flames out. Apparently it was the positive battery cable arcing on the block. So...a new cable will be run. Crazy morning. That lead right into severe storms. Nothing bad here but Dad had trees, power lines, etc all down close by.

WOW!!

Not bad,5 hours and motor/transmission is out. Looks like an oil tanker crashed into my shop though. Lots of spills.
Tomorrow clean up spills,or sawdust that soaked up the mess.
Tear harness out of engine bay and re- install it onto engine.
Still waiting to hear about the 2wd transmission.

From the ‘can’t make this **** up’ files. :BangHead:

Um yeah...so it sat safely in a garage since 1984, then on the first attempted drive I light it on fire.....sigh
New meaning to the term "FIRE IT UP" :D
Sounds like a small fire extinguisher purchase is next??
