Stop in for a cup of coffee

Bunch of bs going on at work... 4 guys fired in the last two weeks and one guy got suspended... :realcrazy: :wtf:

The revolving door is spinning like a pin wheel... :BangHead:

I have used 3M panel bond to fix steering wheels before.

I put the whole wheel in the sand blast cabinet and blast it, easier than sitting there sanding it till the cows come home with a small clogged piece of sand paper.

Then with it all blasted, then you can epoxy primer and refinish it nice.

That is a really good smart way to fix it. Excellent product repair choice.
Professional Repair . . .

Good Early Morning, Mopar Fans !

It's going to be "Fire in the Hole" day today, after setting this next engine in the truck last night.

Buttoning her up with all the essential bolt ons, then . . . Varoom, Varoom, Varoom !

Yes, it was me, I am currently restoring it. But I thought I just delete the post. I have filled the hair crack lines with Loctite 420, and the largest cracks I am filling with Loctite epoxy. I have primer, paint, and clear coat for the steering wheel, 1 pint of each.
So, it was not for this project I wanted the Rust-Oleum primer.

Ever us PC-7? Been using it a lot lately like it because it does not shrink.

Yes 318 but Tike put in a 88 motor I believe. I will take a look at the heads today

Hey all up and ready to get at it...ahhh maybe in another hour or so.
Good Morning!!

I wasn't going to say in here but say it in a PM. I started writing it and then stopped. But I didn't delete it and then I wasn't paying attention and posted something else and what I never intended to post.

The reason I am saying I am done with cars for the season is:

Today I went to work and I was feeling sore and tired from the long road trip on Wednesday.

So I am kinda dragging butt and just trying to make it through the day.

So on the way out to lunch I saw this little table with a box of papers on it and it was kinda blocking the door way to a closet / office storage place. So I was thinking it wasn't safe there and someone could open the door too fast or somehow trip over it.

So being in a hurry to go to lunch with the group, I slid the box of papers off the table in order to move the table and clear the way.

When the box slid off and all the weight came on my arms, it was waaaaay freaking heavier than I expected so I felt a snap crackle pop in my lower back and I went down to the ground with the box and landed on it.

I landed pretty much with my *** in the air over the box and chin on the floor (don't laugh). I didn't feel any pain then. I paused a minute and absorbed what happened.

Then I tried getting up and when I tried to straighten my back and get up. The most horrific pain I can't even describe with words. I don't even remember yelling in pain but it promoted some co workers to come see what happened.

Not a flattering moment to end up in the ER, bent over and not able to walk, being carried in.

So I am a couch potato for awhile.
Been there.more than once.
I remember crawling into the house and laying on the floor, waiting for my wife to come home. I spent a couple days flat on my back. And just lately, if i move a certain way i can feel the pinch in my low back.

'88 is a good 302 headed 318 year too. '86 to '90 all good years for the 302s.

'88 should be the Throttle Body, Roller Lifters engine.
It is TBI never had the intake off only the pan to do a rear seal, and threw a new chain in it also. was nice and clean at least.

I know where there are prob 5 of those trucks with the engines in it. Might be worth the time pulling the heads then. What are the cores selling for any idea?

Well here is the deal, Rock Auto sells the Reman 302s shipped to your door for like 450.00 no cores.

But the thing is they go out of stock, if you can't get the remans then you got to go with the take offs.

Supply and Demand, would be a good idea to grab those 302s if you can. Once they are all gone they are gone. RockAuto is using up the cores too as they are shipping them out.

302s have a better port flow design built into them too.

Morning.
Still on the fence with the second hoist.
Shop needs a “makeover” so i have room for alignment machine.
Today is F250 service and figure out a way to get dome lights to function. Gem module is not turning on the lights.

Hey Craig go get at it!
Been working a couple hours a day on the Barracuda.
My buddy John, you met him at Carlisle, comes in next week.
We're going to finish up the car, and go over it top to bottom and front to back.
Anything that might be left after he leaves, I'll have six weeks before the Chicago show.
After that it will be nice to just look at it, drive, show, and share it with classic car people!!
