Which time zone??

Central Standard Time (CST)
Nice time zone to work with all the Folks across our whole nation USA, from East Coast, Central US, and West Coast.
All Nations too . . .

Whatever works though, good fun and friendship to get though the night for the folks that are up.

I wasn't going to say in here but say it in a PM. I started writing it and then stopped. But I didn't delete it and then I wasn't paying attention and posted something else and what I never intended to post.

The reason I am saying I am done with cars for the season is:

Today I went to work and I was feeling sore and tired from the long road trip on Wednesday.

So I am kinda dragging butt and just trying to make it through the day.

So on the way out to lunch I saw this little table with a box of papers on it and it was kinda blocking the door way to a closet / office storage place. So I was thinking it wasn't safe there and someone could open the door too fast or somehow trip over it.

So being in a hurry to go to lunch with the group, I slid the box of papers off the table in order to move the table and clear the way.

When the box slid off and all the weight came on my arms, it was waaaaay freaking heavier than I expected so I felt a snap crackle pop in my lower back and I went down to the ground with the box and landed on it.

I landed pretty much with my *** in the air over the box and chin on the floor (don't laugh). I didn't feel any pain then. I paused a minute and absorbed what happened.

Then I tried getting up and when I tried to straighten my back and get up. The most horrific pain I can't even describe with words. I don't even remember yelling in pain but it promoted some co workers to come see what happened.

Not a flattering moment to end up in the ER, bent over and not able to walk, being carried in.

So I am a couch potato for awhile.

Wow !!! Sorry to hear that Rani..Get well soon...

Feel your pain, time to rest up for a bit hope you feel better soon.

Split second things can shut things down right now.

Sounds like me 3 weeks ago, blew my ankle out when out cutting wood for the winter. Right there that moment everything stopped.

Had my neighbor come over and put everything outside away for me.

So yeah was couch time for a week then wrap it up and brace it and get out to the shop and slowly work back into things, been hobbling around since but on the mend and getting things accomplished.

Things are healing just takes time with the sprains. Glad I had FABO to help keep me occupied for that week on the couch.

Good Luck, Happens to the best of us.

Ouch! Take it easy. Will be praying for a complete and speedy recovery.

Does your locality do smog inspections??

Here where I am, they don't do emissions tests or anything like that. They don't care if you lose the caddilac convertor around here.
No sniff tests here.

Ouch Rainy!

I feel your pain. I have been dealing with an injured back for more than 3 decades and it isn’t any fun.

I will tell you though that my back injury happened when I was dropping an engine in a ‘70 Duster by myself and was bent over the fender trying to line up the engine with the tranny that was up on blocks with one in each hand when the tranny slipped off the blocks and yanked me over the fender...hyper-extending my lower back ripping a bunch of muscles. I also broke a bone in my left hand when the engine slammed the tranny with it in between.

Ever since then my back has been a mess...but at least I can say I got it honorably.

Well, maybe...Mopar related at least.
