Hey bartender!
One shall not fart-can a v6! It's a law.Sounds good for a V-6. Speaking of. I ran across a millennial Challenger SXT the other day with "fart cans" on it. Sounded like an oversized Acura. Pretty sad.

I tried doing a makeover once... I was still sexy!Do you guys ever do makeovers, or is that a girl thing?
I wasn't going to say in here but say it in a PM. I started writing it and then stopped. But I didn't delete it and then I wasn't paying attention and posted something else and what I never intended to post.
The reason I am saying I am done with cars for the season is:
Today I went to work and I was feeling sore and tired from the long road trip on Wednesday.
So I am kinda dragging butt and just trying to make it through the day.
So on the way out to lunch I saw this little table with a box of papers on it and it was kinda blocking the door way to a closet / office storage place. So I was thinking it wasn't safe there and someone could open the door too fast or somehow trip over it.
So being in a hurry to go to lunch with the group, I slid the box of papers off the table in order to move the table and clear the way.
When the box slid off and all the weight came on my arms, it was waaaaay freaking heavier than I expected so I felt a snap crackle pop in my lower back and I went down to the ground with the box and landed on it.
I landed pretty much with my *** in the air over the box and chin on the floor (don't laugh). I didn't feel any pain then. I paused a minute and absorbed what happened.
Then I tried getting up and when I tried to straighten my back and get up. The most horrific pain I can't even describe with words. I don't even remember yelling in pain but it promoted some co workers to come see what happened.
Not a flattering moment to end up in the ER, bent over and not able to walk, being carried in.
So I am a couch potato for awhile.
God kveld I stova. "Good evening in the house".Evening night shift.
Evening night shift.
That sucks. Take it easy till it has a chance to heal... I am terrible at following that advice myself. But I am getting better at it as I get older. Cause you know if you push it, your down that much longer.I wasn't going to say in here but say it in a PM. I started writing it and then stopped. Tried to ask in the body forum about using Rust-Oleum primer and then acrylic paint, but not sure I got any wiser of the few answers I got. What say you guys ?
Bill
Well, I am no expert, but to give an answer ...lets start with exactly which primer are we talking about?Tried to ask in the body forum about using Rust-Oleum primer and then acrylic paint, but not sure I got any wiser of the few answers I got. What say you guys ?

I saw someone posted up a cracked up steering wheel they were thinking about repairing was that you Bill ?
I imagine you could do the bodywork tricks on filling the cracks prime it with an automotive primer surfacer, sand that, then apply an automotive finish to it to cover over all the work. Lots of time for the interior colors, they just use the Base Coat color coat for the car without the final clear coat, that way it stays flatter to go with the rest of the interior without the shine.
Got that right zkx14, when you are down on the couch it is hard to sit there and do nothing, especially when you have 100 projects going and want to get back on them . . .
No sandblasting equipment. Sorry. Just a file.I have used 3M panel bond to fix steering wheels before.
I put the whole wheel in the sand blast cabinet and blast it, easier than sitting there sanding it till the cows come home with a small clogged piece of sand paper.
Then with it all blasted, then you can epoxy primer and refinish it nice.
