Good Morning and happy Friday. Short day at work today, then exhaust on the Demon. Can't wait to hear it in a more practical decibel level.

Well, usually. They got my recycles earlier. Just grabbed the trash a minute ago.
Either they are slow cause everything is wet from rain overnight or they are still behind from the holiday last week. I think it was either very late Friday or Sat till they got it last week.

Good morning. Exhaust repair must be going around. I did that on my pick up yesterday.

Me too. Half day. 3-7. Doing a family reunion tomorrow afternoon. Could have worked my whole shift, but took the half thinking I had to get up early.
I wanted to get up early today and change more deck boards. THen it rained. All still wet. But there is a good breeze. Kinda cool actually. I might still get at it after coffee.

I was intending on 6-10 today...rolled in close to 7 so now stuck here until 11. So tired this AM. Big storms came through last night. Wonderful sound and light show.

There are a few more shows around here yet through October. I hope to get the Duster to at least one of them. I know there is one at a church Sept 28 10-2, I can do that and still make it to work if I have to cover that day. I'd like to do one that is Trunk-or-treat on an old factory site the call the Ruins But that didn't work last year with second shift. :(

It is for the upper dash where the speaker and defroster vents are. It has some rust, but not at all too bad, and I will sand it a bit first. It is only because I had this primer already.

I used a lot of that on my duster. And sprayed a lot of other stuff over it with great results. The one I had issues with was the PPG finish coat over Rustoleum gray/black auto primer sprayed with a gun. And those should have been compatible. So far just a few areas. So maybe something on those spots and not a paint issue at all. Time will tell. As for would I use acrylic?.. That primer is sold as automotive primer. The most popular touchup paint around here is Duplicolor. It is says it is 'acrylic laquer' I don't know what formula changes the two have done over the years. But I will guarantee I used them together without a second thought in the past.

Now for my 3 day weekend!!!! Yay!!! :D

We're going to finish up the car, and go over it top to bottom and front to back.
Anything that might be left after he leaves, I'll have six weeks before the Chicago show.
After that it will be nice to just look at it, drive, show, and share it with classic car people!!

I hope to make it to MCACN this year. Your convert and Darin's Floral Top A12 Bee will be there. Always cool to have friends cars there. Maybe Karl could stop by.
 
Speaking of fish. Up here in the frozen tundra they call seat warmers “tuna cookers” when we first moved up here I kept hearing the term and had no idea what it meant. Chilly here this morning, wife is wanting to switch to flannel sheets this weekend. Just not ready for winter yet.
