Stop in for a cup of coffee

Speaking of fish. Up here in the frozen tundra they call seat warmers “tuna cookers” when we first moved up here I kept hearing the term and had no idea what it meant. Chilly here this morning, wife is wanting to switch to flannel sheets this weekend. Just not ready for winter yet.
It's 50° in Fargo. Nice weather.

Time to get busy. I think i'll put my new radiator in my Swinger.

Blew up the photos of the 68 GT, Doors, Quarters, Rockers all rusted bad, by the looks of those sure the floor pan and trunk are rusted too. Radiator still in it, sitting low in the front llike it still has the engine in it.

Being a GT should have an 8 3/4 in it . . .
Come to think of it saw a 67 GT in Florida with buckets, auto on the column and 7 1/4 rear.

It was 100 here yesterday, and I have a mega headache today from that. I want 2 feet of snow....

I just stepped outside with a t-shirt on and it's a little nippy around here. Good peppermint schnapps weather LOL

It's Fairlane Friday! Good Morning.
Yes it's surfing weather today, many of the neighboring villages will be knockin' on the 100* door.
Won't be far from it here.
There's a FoMoCo car show up the street tomorrow.

The grill looks good.....Top motor, trunk torsion rods if good.........Hood....Trunk lid....

Yep.59 here. If it was sunny, that would feel great. Damp, so feels chilly. Wearing a long sleeved shirt. At least to start. Got about half the screws out of the boards I want to change. Pulled all the edges and ones that were sunk that you couldn't see them first. So once I get the saw set up I am not sitting there fighting a screw for 10 minutes. :BangHead:
Grabbng my second cup of coffee and back at it...

Hey Keith....

Call me crazy, but I'm considering moving to Montana, land prices are pretty good and the views are amazing.

I gave this deck all Summer to fix itself and it hasn’t happened. :wtf: Guess I gotta do it. See ya’s next break. Lol

I would not at all call you crazy, Montana is a beautiful state. And people are very different, some like mountains, some like it flat, some like it moist, some like it dry, some like it cold, some like it hot. Should be at least one state that fits your requirements. Now you live in la la land it says in your profile, so I guess most states would be an upgrade to that. Ha ha.

I want to move too, my wife wants to move, but she is on the fence still. I wish we could move to Maine, colder, real winter (which I miss), close to the ocean with the kinds of fish I like, and colors in the fall (which I also miss). Low property prices, and far less crime.
And no tax on pensions for retired people unless it is over a certain value, and my wife and I are far under that when the time comes. Decent gun laws too, compared to this state.

But my wife is unsure about how she will get along with the Mainers, lol. They speak a little different than here in California. I have read that Mainers does not like people moving there and complain about the snow. My wife love snow, and so does I.

Well, generally speaking, I've found the people of the Northeast to be much friendlier than the people in california. The exception, of course is New York, especially those from New York City, they can be snobby. Same with Boston. Outside of that, I've not found any reason to chose CA over really any other state as far as people are concerned.

There will always be exceptions to the rule. As of now, you do not talk about politics with people here. If they start, you walk off. In general I do not speak to people here. I go to the store, get my stuff, if I run into someone and have to open my mouth, let it usually be brief, go to the cashier, say hello, how are you today, say I am fine, pay, walk out, when half out the door start screening the background if there is trouble in sight, get back in if there is, if not go to the car which I park as far from the store as possible where the car can be parked without other cars on the side. Then go home, and stay. Once in a while someone friendly walk by if I am out working on the Dodge in the morning, might talk a little with them if they stop and look at the car. If not, just mind my own business. Two neighbors we have a good relationship with, the others not good or no relaitonship with them. People around here are very busy, no time for anything. And that reflects the way people behave too. I have no idea why California is in so much more hurry than other states. I would not say people here behave bad, it is more like, they are in such a hurry that the way they behave is a result of that.
My wife is extremely stressed all the time, and when she was in Norway she completely changed, but when back here she is stressed again. Now she have experienced a different way, and talk about it from time to time. When I hear she talk about her job, I am shocked. I am not used to the kind of crap she has to put up with, I would probably leave on the spot and someone else would go home with a black eye. So, if I was a woman, I could not stay a day in California, but then I have no clue how other states treat women either.
