Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have been looking for a small 1/4 inch socket wrench set in an old fashioned steel box, but no luck. It is all plastic these days. How sad is that.

Gooood Monday Morning for all you working MOPAR people...the rest of you it's Saturday AGAIN!!

Well daughter and kids are coming in Tuesday from Japan a week early due to available seating on military flights.
My buddy John comes in Wednesday for a week too. He's spending a week here working on the Barracuda. Some fun time also, we're going to a huge 2000 car car show Saturday. Not taking a car just going to enjoy the day and cars.
When I take John back to the airport, I'll pick up the SNL who'll be flying in. He couldn't leave Japan until his leave started.
Oh well I guess it will seem crowded here, but we'll make it work.

Good Monday Morning, or Saturday or Sunday? Either one I got 2 more hrs and its my Friday night. I'll be off nights for a week, can't wait to sleep!! WAY TOO MUCH COFFEE last night ;)

Always great to see the family. Car show sounds like fun too.

Good Morning Hoppy, what's on the plate today?
Not sure yet noticed the wound drain on the dog was never removed, thought it was just a scab. That's the first thing on the plate I hope, but have to wait until 0900 for them to open.

I see that dart lite for sale. Just a question didn't they have aluminum sheet metal also? Fenders or something?

all its unique to Dodge Dart Lite equipment intact, and paperwork proving its pedigree.

The Dart Lite and its brand cousin Plymouth Feather Duster used aluminum for the intake manifold, bumper bracing, and underhood and trunk support to help shave 150 pounds off the Dart Sport weight. The aluminum bracing was pinched into place instead of spot welded. The carburetor and distributor were tuned for maximum fuel economy. The 225-cu.in. Slant Six was mated to a four-speed manual transmission with 0.73:1 overdrive, which turned a 2.94:1 final drive rear axle. When ordered with the Lite package, the overdrive-4 transmission featured an aluminum case. A larger-than-stock-diameter exhaust helped engine efficiency, and even the engine block itself went on a diet.

Good Morning All

Bet that would be a hell of a hood to have to find!
There’s a dart lite and a feather duster in a junkyard near me. But they are beyond saving, albeit both are nearly complete. The feather duster has trees grown up in it, around it and out thru the windshield

I would grab whatever aluminum parts off those cars that made them special too...

Grab the intakes I have sold a few decent money.

That’s not a bad idea. Trick will be getting them at a price that makes them flip-able. The yard owner knows his Mopars, this yard is 95 percent Mopar. His prices are fair, but are normally right below what stuff normally goes for at swap meets and such.
