Well, night all........................................................................

Spent all day dodging my painting contractor and his noisy pressure washer. Did go to Charlie's in the neighboring village.

The burgers are delicious. I may not eat again until NFC North Sunday on Fox :D.

Beer didn’t work to subdue this back pain so I think I will eat a belly full of pasta and try to put myself into a carb coma to try to get some sleep tonight.

I’m exhausted. I have had only 4 hours sleep in the past 36 hrs.

It won’t wreck my diet either...the pain has made me so nauseous that I haven eaten much in 24 hours.

Oh, its locked up good. I tried dragging it around, from the front in forward and reverse gear. Not even a twitch.
Thinking i need to put a load on the back and give it a few more pulls un the gravel.

Push it down with a Porto-Power using a chain as as an A Frame attached to each end of the engine and the large foot on the base of the porto power so that it sits and pushes square.

Or build a jig to hold the porto-power like in this 10 minute video (a little drawn out but good info) then you can hit the jig with a hammer when you get good pressure on it with the porto-power.

Take care of yourself Dave...

If you were closer, I would give you some of my muscle relaxers....

Got one of these to hang upside down for a bit and stretch it out a few times ?? Temporary relief from the squished out vertebra pushing on the nerves.

My experience with back issues is that the back and leg muscles tighten up so much that they pull down hard on your spine, pinching the nerves in the spine at the points where they are close enough to start squeezing on the nerves.

Found this out from sitting in a chair for 10 hours a day doing computer service work, dang muscles shorten up (causing back troubles) when they are not getting stretched out, like they do when you are out walking around all day.

Got out of that career and sitting in that chair, out and about doing stand up things in the shop now. Back has been back to good again now for many years.

Good luck

Hate to say it but, 1 shot of whiskey for a muscle relaxer might help the tight muscles let go to at least let you get to sleep.

How well does that hang upside down thing work??? Is it worth the money... I've seen them advertised, but not sure if they help....
