Stop in for a cup of coffee

Won't make the car boring to drive?
nah, if anything, more fun. the Holley system is a data logger too. you'll be constantly tuning and driving until you find the best tune for your combo. To me, thats more fun than swapping jets and idle cams.

I would go carb just to keep costs down and make it simple. Easier starting would be a plus but you can help that issue with a carb by using a small electric pump and a fuel return filter.
Dart already has a return line and a good pump. Malory pump....

500.00 for HP Holley Carb, 1700.00 for EFI. With intake....or so.....

The tuning and drivability would be a lot of fun. Fire it up and go. If boring, the just leave other things that you can work on all the time....at least it runs. I would love to change my dual 660's on the tunnel ram to dual Fitech!!

That's what I'm thinking. No more having to drive home to rejet the carb and smell like gasoline. Just pull over, tweak the map and continue driving.

Depending on how you do your fuel set up most kits require a return line. I got a regulated fuel filter from holley I'm going to mount close to the pump so my return line is a couple of feet vs having one all the way from the engine.

The Hemi Ram is not boring to drive.
My brothers Hellcat sure was boring to drive! Really!!! So boring he got a Demon to replace it with....Ho hum,....Like a sewing machine.....I am not kidding...
BUT I would have a hard time saying 500 plus HP in a Early A body could be boring!!!

Cut the S**t out of my arms, getting this Master Cly installed, way up under the cowl on this Escort. I charge extra if I Bleed....

Sooo Question for the brain trust that is the coffee shop....
My 408, coming soon, in my 66 Dart, Carb.d or EFI? What do you guys think ?
Whatever floats your boat Tim.
@Rainy Day Auto and myself are into simple. If I wanted EFI I'd buy a new car - something made in the last 20 years.
But you are you. Do what you enjoy.

EFI is better when you want to pass strict emissions and still have some torque and power. Its much easier to play games and do things the timing and mixes that are unnatural.
Otherwise, its a wash in terms of performance and efficiency.

:soapbox:Dumb fone was ticking me off this morning. Went off 5 times for NWS alert for snow squalls in less than an hour. Local news on TV shows the alert is more for Northern counties anyway -not here.
I think some people have worked day shift all there lives and just assume everyone else does.
I'm trying to sleep -Unless that **** is gonna blow my covers off I don't give a Fk. . One alert would have been sufficient. I have my volume off, but wifes made a tone too. :BangHead:
Good Morning

I am in the simple dept. as well......

Like that....Thanks Mike...
Keep in mind this is the same company that sells carbs with the wrong booster length.
Anular boosters have been around for years. If they are not positioned correctly it doesn't matter how good the concept is.
(And I think they are one of the better aftermarket companies)

It's Eddy's 750 carb that's the big offender. Can be fixed.

Beauty of a carb is that it supplies in direct response to the engine demand.
Especially once on the main circuits, fueling response from the boosters is instant.

But for some, punching numbers into a screen is simpler.

I am in the K.I.S.S. camp.
