Love it!

Thanks. A young kid had it. He did some decent work on it. He patched the floor pans with flat metal. He did ok. I am going to leave all but a real small section under the dimmer switch alone. He didn't finish anything really and I don't understand why. I guess he just lost interest.

Heh. I can't say I did any better as a 'kid'. Actually worse. Usual patches were pop rivet. LOL.

We had a 63 or 4 Falcon 2 door wagon, 6 with 3 on the tree. Really liked it.
The six is perfect in there.
Never loved the small Ford engine bays. v-8s in a Comet make me claustrophobic.

Yeah they are tight. I have a pretty hot 5.0 GT40P engine too, but it's gonna stay the six. I got it for a backup car.

Once you get it all fixed up, it will probably run forever and be reliable as hell. Nice little car!

The engine is a very fresh build. When you turn the key off the engine stops immediately. lol

Busy day here. Wife made me clean up my car lot and then decided she wanted the storage shed I built moved to the other side of my 10 aces, which meant going up and down hill.

I'm prolly going to booed out of mopar land.

I traded a mopar For a pair of fords, so now I have me a 4.6 . HP to go through, reassemble and love and cherish.

Sad part is, I was fully expecting the thing to collapse going up and down the gullies. But I did overbuild it and added even more bracing after I took the sheet metal off the one side

And Good Morning to ya!! Up and awake I think. At the ER with Chery until 1 am. She has a cough and cold for two weeks. It was viral so gave her some cough meds and told her to let it run it’s course. Last night she was running a fever. She said she’d go in later, I insisted and so took her in.
All sorts of testing and she has a mild case on pneumonia. Gave her a large dose of antibiotics. Goes back for the second round this evening. Kinda up in the air if she goes Thursday to Hawaii or comes a few days later. Other than that not much going on.
Don't mess with that! I missed 2 weeks of work last summer and it took all summer to recover.

What is that old car there Dukie?
1948 Dodge 2Dr coupe, chop top hot rod project. Flat head 8 with fluid drive trans, locked up tight. But it’s not mine. It belongs to a Disabled combat Vet buddy of mine. Getting a 3rd gen hemi, 727 push button.

I spent some of the afternoon getting the new garage carriage lights relined with a double layer of the LED sign vinyl. They are perfect now, about the intensity of a standard 40w bulb.

Note how they now match the intensity of the solar lights along the front walk and the low wattage bulbs at the front entry.

Check this out.. The late wife had a customer who wanted a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader costume made for part of a costume cruise. The woman is in her 40s and I assumed she must be bad *** to pull that off.. I never saw the woman.

Fast forward 9 months or so...

I was piddling in the garage this afternoon and a woman shows up. Turns out to be cheerleader lady! And she looks like she could pull it off! Turns out I know her husband. She invites me to come out to their lake house this summer... Do you think I'll go? You bet your butt I will!

And this chick is a pharmacist to boot!

No good progress goes unpunished. My wife is so impressed with the refining of the garage lights that she wants me to do something similar to the porch light on the back of the house for the deck.

Good thing I bought extra sign vinyl...LOL!

This image has made me crazy for a couple of years now. I keep going back to it, but haven’t been able to make it right. I couldn’t figure out why.

Tonight I looked at it again after a few months and suddenly realized what the problem was. The perspective of the background didn’t match the car in the foreground. No wonder it was making me crazy!

A few minutes of adjustments and I am finally happy with it.
