Morning!
Hhr dropped off, has a check engine light. Dunno what it is. This mornings work.
Avalanche towed in last night. Front end broken. Thats about all the owner could tell me. Towtruck driver said cv shaft is pulled apart and right front wheel is just hanging.
Will get pics of the carnage.

dump of snow last night,on top of icy roads. Came across this.

If its a blown wheel bearing, i have 2 good used ones. Didnt trash them getting them out yesterday.

Dam that sucks Frank.
Was pretty much the owner’s call. We will get to the source of the noise eventually.
If i sell a bearing, thats a few dollars back in his pocket too. I will split it with him.

Raini has a good point on using locktite. think i will be using it on final assembly of the body panel on the Fargo. That thing is going to be a rattle trap..

Frank ever use the Loctite that look like glue sticks? I have a set really like them.

I like em too. Especially the part when you discover 1/3 of the product is stuck in the tube after you think its empty. Total ripoff. really shitty design of the dispenser. I popped the end off and there was too much left after the plunger topped out.

Yours are different, if they are similar to glue sticks, i was ranting about the gel type.

Really? I have not used them that far yet. Good to know. I just like when you need them they are not dried up in the bottle.

Yes like a glue stick. Got them at Carlisle a few years ago from a friend there. Thin it was around $20 for the set. Just convenient to use for me.

Looks handy. Locktite is expensive enough. Im going to look into that kit. Less mess for sure.

Usually I go to use the liquid in a tube and half the time it is dried up since I don't use it much. He also hooked me u with RTV in a aerosol type dispenser, so far been working out well.

I use a lot of locktite and anti-sieze. Caulking gun size silicone.
