Stop in for a cup of coffee

Oh yeah it is not only Thong Thursday but the first day of spring! The stars are aligned in my universe at least!

Kind of wonder what that guy wants for the NOS upper hose? I know they are hard to find. 100-150?
I'm not sure. Tough to buy a 50 year old piece of hose.
I guess if the car wasn't driven much and you were looking for a all stock original you'd take it.
When I looked for one for my car, did some research. I found a 1967 picture out of Popular Mechanic.
It was a half page pic with a guy working on a 67 383. You could clearly see the upper radiator hose and no number or marking visible.
With that I just bought one to fit the car and engine.

I agree. If it was stored well would work but no roadtrips! Just saw that and figured you might want to see it.

I know the 68-69 radiator hose doesn't fit the 67. Thanks for thinking of me though.
I'm tempted to call on the 383 exhaust manifolds, but shipping would be expensive.

That Connecticut a bit out of the way and you have to drive trough NYC! Speaking of which talked to my stepmother yesterday. I guess Long Island is a freaking mess with this stuff going on. All deliveries have to go onto the island and a lot of truckers do not want to go through NYC so shortages. She is very involved with Canine companions and she is one of the people that demonstrates the dogs at schools etc. All stopped. Man she is bored. This woman is like a kid, 2nd grade school teacher 40 years, on her 80th birthday she went skydiving, 90 is this year wonder what she will do this time?

I want to be like her when I'm her age!!

Have to love he. Still uses a Italian scooter to get around. She grew up in Argentina father was a banker in the 30-40's there. Taking al the Nazi money! Guy died on his 102 BD having sex with a 70 year old! I never knew she lived there during their revolution. Talked about that yesterday. You would never know she was fluid in Spanish looking at her. One day we were in a store together some guys behind us were talking Spanish and she just blasted them, not sure what they said but pissed her off. Pretty funny getting schooled by a little old lady!

Thursday!
Good morning.

Hey Mike and Hey Mark @MomsDuster Mark snuck in. Hey what ya been doing on the Duster??
Howdy! Well let’s see, switched over to carb from the FI, so I had to do a little plumbing changes and some ignition changes along with some wiring. Had some lifter noises I didn’t like so I rebuilt (cleaned) the lifters. Now I’m fiddling with some interior stuff. Not a fan at all of interior work but it’s something to do while stuck at home.

Morning everyone, raining now with 6-8 inches of snow and 30 mph winds around 10. Getting out now to make a quick run through. Coffee in my thermos and heading out the door. Later.

The council votes on the budget tonight. (5:30 I think) Hope it goes smoothly.

No Small Craft advisories, no Gale Warnings, no High Wind warnings, in March . Highly unusual.
Really getting reacustomed to the evaporated milk in the lattes :D. While still at the rock farm lattes were a weekend luxury, all i used was evaporated milk. Economics raised it's ugly head when I said Adios to rocks and asphalt, half gallon of milk=8 lattes $1.50, 1 can milk=2 lattes $1.50 . With the new tune on the lattes 1 can=3 lattes . Haven't seen milk in the market in a week.

We have it coming. Heavy rain and severe thunderstorms coming soon.

1. Extreme tire wear, especially in the rear.
2. Premature driveshaft failure.
3. Speeding Tickets.
4. Increased dry cleaning bills, especially for underwear.
5. Premature U-joint failure.

In test subjects, this behavior has been proven to become extremely habit forming. Frequent consultations with Visa and/or Mastercard may temporarily ease pain and suffering, however "the bug" will almost certainly return with increased intensity. If this happens, reapply Visa, Mastercard and drag strip, in that order. Don't say we didn't warn you!!
