Its going to be weird. Gonna look like a stickup man but be handing my cash over.:poke:

Good Morning folks, got another question for the Coffee Shop Gurus. What can I use for the little “grommets” (for lack of knowledge in their true name) that go in the nuts for the scoop?

Never see them that cheap usually 80-100 start
It's got a long time to go
Epic Dad fail, so wife is sleeping in, I have already been out to the shop fired up the heat. Had a cup of green tea doing some reading and decide to throw some corn out for squirrels. Eagle eyed hound spots a squirrel about fifty yards out. Chase ensues, thru drainage ditch etc etc. once we get all gathered back up and mailbox checked we head back in the house. We peek in on the wife who is still snoozing and dumb dog decides to bounce up and ensure correct creature is burrowed in under the quilt. Said creature now has muddy wet dog feet on everything. After an expletives laced explanation of both my, and the hounds intelligence we have decided to retreat to the shop. Apparently there is now going to be a bunch of washing machine action going on. You guys and one gal have a great day!

I considered going to one yesterday. They showed it on the news that they were maybe half as busy as what is normally their best day. But they still showed people elbo to elbow trying to buy stuff. Nope. Don't need anything that bad.

Good Morning

I haven't been paying attention and my memory is short (Que Karl with the short jokes)
You putting a 440 in that thang?
Actually it has a 440 HP from a 69 Charger in it now with a 727. Problem is, it also has the 69 K frame from the Charger. Not correct. Sets the Motor/Trans too far back. I have a 65 Bbody V8 K frame out back. Im going to switch it out, and change it to a 4 speed.....

Wow, 2 days off. What shall I do?...
Guess i will put some pressure on my water tank and see if I can get the capacity back as Tike suggested. Also want to check my water level in the well with pump running. I did find my measurments I took in 2008 when I changed the foot valve. Well is 55ft deep Foot valve 43ft down with static water depth of 35ft. But I never checked the level with the pump running. Thats what you are supposed to use for sizing pump. I'm sure the 1/2hp is fine. Been that way for 30some years. But considering going to 3/4 if I change the whole thing.
I also have the grommets for the Duster shift linkage. Ionly got 2 of one part #. They give 2 diff #s in parts book, confusing what is correct or even how they are different.

But they still showed people elbo to elbow trying to buy stuff.
They've been doing a good job here. It's all outdoors. Close the street off and use the whole width. Chalk and ropes to mark off the spaces for queing. Everything is bagged and handed over by the sellers. pretty much everyone has their mouth and nose covered this week - even me.
I'll go back later and take a photo.

Finally made it to shop. Thinking i should clean off one shelf and find a pillow and take a nap. I’ll call it shelf quarantine...

Need to find an old parts manager. Bill Rolick?
or post a question in general and hope someone answer the question your asking.
Got some photos?

Uh yea. If you want throw away tools.
Is there nothing you already have that will accomplish the same thing?
That’s what I’m debating. I can do the job with a cut off wheel and reciprocating saw. Just thought the plasma cutter “might” make things quicker and easier but I can buy a lot of blades for the cost of a plasma.

Needs a pretty good air supply. I have plasma, but rarely use it.
Its not well suited for cutting sheet metal in my opinion, high quality cutoff wheels last longer and leave a better edge.
And i cant stand the awful smoke in the shop. dealing with the dross, still needs another step to clean up. Not to mention the blast of fire out the backside.

Great for 1/8” and heavier stuff...
